As far as I can see the cheaper system also plays the games, and plays them in a higher resolution.
MS need a big fat carrot. cause from where I stand the grass doesnt look nearly as green as their tiles.

The Amiga's had a powerful software driven Audio converter chip. DAC of sorts, the sound resolutions and amount of channels alone were impressive, better than most. The whole amiga system was so well thought out and so advanced that it just is a shame that they died out, they were and Im sure could have been something special today.

Its not quite an install, more like a fluid memory pool for the most frequent and important gamefiles for the games you play most/played last.

Swapping the HDD for a bigger one isnt an issue.
But Sata 2? As in Sata/300? thats almost a 10 year old standard. Better be just the HDD spec reference, cause if ps4 doesnt have Sata/600 I/O then I dont know what to say.
And the launch is nearing, hope Sony will soon make an announcement about the media features and stuff.

they were non x86 computers with a pretty awesome OS and some if not all had some sort of special analog audio component.
You can obviously cut a lot of corners to make it appear like that is the case, but 10 000 animated individual character or even objects?
Hell it just isnt worth it, fidelity would take a noticeble hit even if the characters or objects looked horrendeus in a most likely sterile or crappy looking environment.

Not hating Kz3, was rushed made some mistakes. It is a really good game, but no one in their right mind can say it is a better game overall compared to Kz2.
And Kz2 lighting is better to me, that is all I said.
Regarding Kz3 gameplay I loved the brutal melee, sliding and overall better mobility being able to fluidily slide to vault and run over cover for example feels satisfying.
Kz SF improves a mile in this regard ...

One aspect of Kz3 IMO changed for the worse.
Early in engine shots had more KZ2-ish colours and lighting which I fancy a lot more than the cartoonish contrasty Kz3 look. Hope it just isnt me though.
Cant deny that Shadow fall looks sweeter than ever now though.
These new screens are promising.
Whenever I pick up a ps4, SF will be the game Im getting first.

I know, and that is kind of the problem.
Support is good and all but GT5 have had quite a few GB of updates eating away HDD space. Adding a car or a track every now and then is all fine, but Id like not to get huge updates to change the game all over back and forth each month because it wasnt finnished in the first place.
GT5 added and changed a lot within even a year.
GT5 XL edition included a lot of updates on disc.
Im just sayin that I hope...
I agree that GT6 would have been sweet as hell on Ps4.
But its looking pretty hot on my favourite console of all time so I can live with that.
Ill enjoy GT6 on ps3 til GT7 comes on ps4.
Drive club will prolly satisfy my racing fix on ps4 for a while.
I think GT6 is doing most things right.
Im just curious about standard and premium cars, and ps2 graphic circuits.
With the right cars on the right track GT5 looked unbelievable! But some tracks just didnt get the love they deserved Imo and looked pretty much the same as they did on ps2.
I hope PD have eliminated the standard cars and fully remastered the old tracks.
Other than that I only question their approach to patching and DLC, ...
I think you ignore the fact completely that every COD since God knows when have ran like crap on PC, Ps3 and 360.

Not sure what comes on ps3 after the Ps4 release regarding AAA exlusives, but GT6 and Ratchet & Clank: Nexus isn't out yet. Mostly got all the games I want on Ps3 and a lot to play.
The monumental backlog of games to play is awesome, Ps plus throws game after game in my face that I otherwise prolly wouldnt ever have got, and I always have something to play that I havent finnished yet! So I think PS + is a good help.
On the 360 however, well Titanfall ...
