I don't know about Bioshock being on this list. Granted I played it on normal (on the 360) but after about the halfway point (when you realize nothing's scary anymore cause there's absolutely no punishment for dying), it stopped being hard in any way. I made it on normal without using the chamber thing.
Haven't checked though. Anyone know if those things are still in Bioshock 2? That was really the one big flaw in the original.

Good scores for the 2 games I care about: ME2 and Silent Hill. Of course we all knew ME2 was gonna be great though.
I have to stay strong and not buy them though. Too many games left to play (7 now). Can't justify another purchase. It will be hard though with ME2.
Well, I thought npd doesn't count walmart. With mw2 being advertised so heavily at walmart, I'd imagine a lot of those missing sales were from walmart.

Not that I agree with that mindset though. I love singleplayer only games. I replay games on a constant basis and find that they're always worth $60. So I don't agree with what he's saying but I'm clearing that little excommunication up.

You know, that's actually kinda true. Not sure if you should even count FFXI. FFXII was good (combat) but had a story that no one could care about. Who really knows about FFXIII.
But I think we can all agree that they just haven't been the same since X.

I love my 360. I just started the ballad of gay tony today and finished the lost and damned the other day. One of my most anticipated games this year is Splinter Cell Conviction. I also love my PS3. Playing Ratchet and Clank and Batman AA on it. Haven't got much stuff for my Wii but I like that too. I'm one of the few people who actually isn't biased.
I just don't like this gimicky stuff (natal, the "gem" or whatever, 3D, that stuff). No ma...
Then what's the problem. Are you guys really that finicky that that bothers you. The PS3 version probably is a little worse. But if you can only notice it side by side, then what's the problem? If it's a good game, then it'll shine through it all.
Having said that, I suck at these type of games. So even if it ran smoothly on both the 360 and PS3, I still wouldn't get it.

If it comes out good, cool I guess. But I'm really not interested in it one bit. If certain events take place, it could actually be really bad (if it catches on big with mainstream then we could actually lose MS like we lost Nintendo, why play with 360 numbers when you can have Wii numbers?).

Personally I agree. I don't understand how people can care that deeply for a worthless number. Like in mw2, my k/d ratio is shot to hell and beyond (not cause I suck, I'm actually pretty good. It's just my friends I play against are nearly perfect. Basically pro level) but...
I'm not giving my opinion on this article. All I'm gonna say is that I've replayed MGS3 at least 15 times. And I'm still not tired of it.
I'm excited for it. And I'll get it eventually. I'm putting a hold on all game buying till further notice. I'm swamped with like 8 games. Too many to justify another purchase.
But it looks really good to me. And I'm sure it'll do good in reviews and everyone that played and liked 1 will buy it.
Why fight about it? Just do what I do, enjoy the games you like.
I personally don't like hack and slash games cause I could never get combos over 5 (read: I suck at hack and slash) and I'll only get Reach if the single player is actually worth something this time (like Halo 1).
I'm sure Reach is probably gonna be in the league of the best sellers of all time but who cares really? Sit back and enjoy it when they're released.
