Well still. I missed MS's conference and was looking up big announcements online. I really am shocked that there are so few. If it sells it sells but the only thing I'm getting for sure from MS is Gears 3. And maybe MGS Rising (I hate hack n slash though), but even that for the PS3 probably.
I was looking for a reason to maybe buy Kinect. I can, with full confidence, say I will not be buying it after today. Everyone always said wait till E3 to pass judgment. ...

I'm in the MGS3 > MGS4 camp. Though MGS4 ain't bad either (see bio).
Well HD is just barely catching on. We can barely now expect an HDTV when we walk into people's houses.
But to all those people who just got an HDTV a within the last year, (which is a very very large group) they're not gonna go and buy a new tv to support 3D when they have a perfectly good HDTV.
I don't like 3D, but putting that aside, I don't see how it's profitable to invest so much into it when so few people statistically shouldn&...
This is actually a cool story. They must've been so scared during the demo.
I loved Uncharted 2 (see bio). Just everything about it worked perfectly. I fully think it deserved its reviews and awards, but awards do not equal the best game ever or even best game of the year all the time. Timeless classics like Ico or SotC are definitely better than Uncharted 2 because they actually mean something in the end. Uncharted 2 is just an Indiana Jones copy.
Like the Oscars, just cause they gave The Hurt Locker best picture doesn't mean it was the best...

See this is why I wanted to try the demo (internet isn't connected to my 360). I actually thought this looked pretty good from the previews. Apparently I was wrong huh?
Well, Nomura said that vsXIII will have all the stuff that everyone said FFXIII was missing so unless he goes back on his word, which I doubt he will, you really should get the same basic game.

Well actually they have nothing but good to say about Mario. They gave it a 5/5. The only one who doesn't like SMG2 (and even 1) was morgan webb. Just feels it's too kiddy. Whatever. She does love Ratchet and Clank though.
From G4TV though, Adam Sessler's word is still gold though.
I wanted this game a lot. Sadly I'm broke.
Also I hate the fact that it's near impossible to beat alone. Hate it.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 3D tricking your eyes into doing something your eyes aren't supposed to do?
That doesn't seem healthy. Plus, it's a big headache for a lot of people.
I'm just barely starting to understand that. I took a break from buying games awhile back and now I'm seeing that the ones I passed on temporarily drop in price not too long after.
So I think from now on, unless it's something that's so big that I can't help but buy it day 1, I'm gonna wait awhile. It does help that I'm a patient man though.
I just hope it stays original. I know it's in the right hands but it's about the way the old west is dying. I do like that they said every several years though. Instead of remaking it over and over and over and over. They wanna do it justice apparently.
So yay I guess. I'm loving RDR so far. I think I'm almost around the end.

Well I'm not saying he did play it or anything but I once flew about 2 miles when I hit something in TL&D. And lived. Took forever to find my bike again.
And yeah, he tries his hardest to be as negative as possible in all situations not having to do with Portal and Prince of Persia.
Also, if anyone can please tell me if there's any spoilers in this review. He occasionally does that.
I was just thinking of replaying the Sly Cooper games recently. I guess I'll hold off on that until this comes out. Can't wait.
