At least we know it sold pretty well on day 1. Was afraid people wouldn't buy a western game nowadays.
I don't really care for the thought of the golden guns weapon pack (I hate being too powerful in games, I never even cheated in GTA) so if anyone wants them, pm me (PS3 version).
Who cares? I just got it from amazon though!

Yeah, it sounds like it's a really good platforming game. Might not compare to the old trilogy but might get it down the line.
Yeah, I'm a huge PoP fan but I'd honestly just rather replay the old trilogy instead of this or that cel shaded one.
IGN AU is the best reviewers out there. And they love it. My copy was just sent out (amazon). Should be here tomorrow!
You know, I played the PS3 version of GTA IV. Loved it (see my bio). GTA IV episodes came out, bought it on my 360 (disk, not downloaded). The 360 version was noticeably worse. I normally don't care about that stuff but you've always said the 360 version felt like a whole other game cause it was so much better.
The tunnel that connects islands 2&3 never worked right. The floor and ceiling always disappeared. The buildings by the freeway by the Lost clubhouse...
I wouldn't say best ever but it is a pretty good month. All I can afford is RDR and SMG2 and that's still incredible really. Plus all the games like modnation, alan wake and 3D dot game heroes on my backlog of games.
Great month.
I kinda like the DS3 design. Been working perfectly for me for what like 10 years? I hope they don't.
You do mean preorder at walmart right? Cause if you preorder from walmart, you get a $20 walmart giftcard. It's an online only one but you can get a free movie or something.
I mean, why not preorder really?
A lot of people do love westerns. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is still regarded as one of the best movies ever made.
Off topic, kinda.
To western fans (or even nonwestern fans), try watching the japanese movie Yojimbo. It's like a western but in japanese setting. Really good. Like really good.
I will give you that I hated by the time it finished I had somewhere around half a million to a million dollars and still nothing to buy.
And I did love San Andreas. I must've played that at least 8 times, each time at least 50 hours. But I always liked to play GTAs seriously. Not constantly running people over, driving sensibly, no cheat codes ect. And GTA IV felt like it was made exactly for me.
I can see where some people will get bored with its sl...
Well the reason I loved GTA IV (see my bio) was the story. It was just unbelievably good. Plus, the game was fun and I did like the vehicle controls and (crazy, I know) I actually liked picking up my friends and listening to them. They were all very very very well written.
But I have high hopes for RDR. I've been looking forward to it since I first heard R* was making a western. So, we'll just wait and see.
edit: I also liked the slow controls ...
Got one but saw it will probably expire before I get to buy it so here's a code for someone who's too lazy to click the link.

Yeah, same. Sony might have the best E3 cause I'm really not interested in natal but this is just useless.
Besides, this year has been good for EVERY console, from 360 to PSP. So E3 should be very good, in theory.
Not to nitpick but I'd say Valve listens to their community a bit more than Bungie. But it's like comparing an A+ to an A really.
Well said though.
Yeah, RDR and SMG2 are all I'm getting. And believe it or not, I'm actually a little more excited for SMG2.
The Wii isn't very powerful but it can still produce very very good games. Don't be immature and think Wii games can't be good.
Very true. Still, my backlog of games is really starting to grow. Between FFXIII, Heavy Rain and Alan Wake.
Well, at least I'll get it at a reduced price right?

Haha, well of course IW doesn't care. Most of them quit.
Yup, that's exactly what I got out of it.
Can't say I'm entirely in love with that idea though. My 360 isn't connected to the internet.
