Well, just do what I do with most video games nowadays: don't watch or read anything about them after you decide you're gonna buy them.
Did that with MGS4. I saw every video ever released for it. Many, many times.
By the time I played it, it felt kinda spoiled. Luckily most of the game was new cause they only ever showed the first level but the lines of dialogue were really familiar as the game went on.
So, don't watch an...

That's why I liked the NFL 2K5. Remember it was that football game that was better than Madden (you tap the button to run faster, how didn't Madden ever copy that!) but it was $20. We bought that over Madden that year but then Madden took over shortly afterward.
Point is, yeah, sports games and the like would do well to drop in price.
Jeez, that fear one was sick.
There's a big HL2 spoiler in there. Just in case.
This actually looks really good. Hopefully it turns out as good as I'm hoping. I really have to play the first one though. Just never got around to it.
Hmm, probably cheap on ebay...
Very well said.

Actually blaze is quite new. He was never around through the terrible times of N4G 360 fanboys were really obnoxious.
You can even look at his details on his account. It says he joined March 13th, 2008; during the times that the 360 fanboys were starting to leave N4G.
So yeah, you're lying. He does prefer his 360, that's obvious. But I don't doubt he has a PS3.
On topic though, this does look interesting and it does look like ...
Most of these people writing are usually kids.
I too think there's a problem in game reviewers giving 9s and 10s to nearly every new release.
But you have to realize (@lordgodalming) that everything that's almost universally praised has its people who hate it and pick at it. It's how it works.
I was definitely blown away by RDR. I don't care what a reviewer says or doesn't say about it. I know that it was one of the best games I've ever played.
Opinions di...
While the second act might get a bit too involved in the revolution, it was still well done. None of the stuff he said was a badly written as he says. RDR has a lot to say about government and how bad it is. And both leaders John Marston runs into are both bad leaders. It fits into the narrative.
Plus, it fails to mention the incredibly well done Stranger missions. Some of those are so good it's unbelievable. And those are liberally sprinkled throughout the first,...
Well, I don't know if anyone besides me, adam sessler and maybe 5 others ever said 3D is not needed. The media loves 3D. Like loves it. Ever since avatar.
And most people went into nintendo's conference with pitchforks and tomatoes labeled "Just In Case"
So yeah, this has nothing to do with giving nintendo free passes.
What you said...makes no sense...
He never ever liked 3D. He always said it was worthless. Watch his past soapboxes.
You know, I get what he's saying. I don't know if I'm quite as far as him in my 180 for 3D but the 3DS could be cool and maybe 3D would work in games. Maybe.
I guess it all depends on the 3DS. Just have to see how it works eventually.
I say yes. It's my favorite game this year and probably in my top 10.
Now onto my opinion of this article:
1. The controls aren't that bad. They're not pitch perfect 3rd person controls like say, Uncharted 2 or something but they're far from bad and much quicker than GTA IV.
2. Don't use the auto aim then. And it doesn't become unbearably hard. I finished the entire game without auto aim I rarely died. It take...
Seriously? A cheesy storyline? Seriously? GTA IV's story is probably the one of the most, if not the most well written story in video games.
The gunplay and stuff is probably true for most people but not me(I like slower realistic stuff).
But the story was far from cheesy.
Well, honestly, he (writer) kinda has a point. I usually play games around someone and they're not exactly watching what I'm playing but if there's just a blurry mess on screen, well, I might not be playing in front of them.
