Well, I would think the way it feels is pretty important to a game. Like in kz2. I loved it but some people were just turned off by the feel of the game.
And isn't this one of the complaints people always use? Quick, twitchy gameplay that's catered to ADD kids?

Yeah I really liked The Darkness even though it took a lot of time to change the sensitivity so the controls actually felt right.
But besides that, everything was so impressive for a game so early in this gen. The world felt so lived in and really open compared to most games.

Well, this one is very bold in saying we won't see Altair and Ezio anymore. They are gonna move on and we can only guess where they're going after.
And after reading that, it sounds perfect for me. Some might be disappointed by it being so similar to the others but I loved the others. And I think I'll love this. Especially since it's so story heavy.
Ugh, that's even worse than I thought. That's one of the reasons I loved Oblivion: no spiders. I loved Fallout 3 but I hated those scorpions. Thankfully vats did most of the work but this...ugh.
Wish those rumors that consoles could use mods was true.

Honestly, 1 has aged ridiculously well. Little things like being able to see the final level in the distance when you're in the first stage and the controls being perfect and everything. 2 actually hasn't truly aged too well but it's still really good. I always remember 3 as being really good too.
All in all, can't wait for this.
edit: I can't wait for the R&C trilogy too. Playing R&C A4O and I'm just missing the true* R&...
Well, CoD is a yearly game but the development time for each is 2 years since two different developers go back and forth on it yearly.

Harold and whatever gives the exact problem with 3d: it's immature. They feel we're stupid. They think we can't pay attention unless they throw stuff at us. Put aside the technical problems like how it makes the image blur or how it makes everything so dark or how it gives headaches or how it messes up little kid's eyes or how it's just generally stupid.
They think we're stupid because they want us to buy new tvs, expensive glasses, more expensive...
I would say inFamous 2 and kz3. Both some of the most fun I've had this year and neither set the world on fire like they should've.

There's been a few games that have split screen multiplayer lately actually. Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3 have it I think. And yeah, pretty sure mw3 too.
Going off recent releases, those 5 and in a more....happy choice, Sonic Generations. Never been a Sonic (I actually always hated those games) but I got it from gamefly and I honestly really really like. Not perfect but it's really fun.

Boo to the worthless 3d fad. May it die a quick death so we don't have to lose anymore braincells over it. It's an insult to our intelligence that they feel they need to throw stuff at us to keep us entertained.
