I do kinda of agree that releasing it on a weekday was kinda silly but I dont really think the PS3 is doing as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Sure it may not be selling as quickly in Japan as the rest of the world however Japan is smaller then the rest of the world so that makes sense.
Also I will have to agree with the guy that the ad campaign for the Slim in Japan was creepy.
I would tend to agree about the DS and PSP thing however I think the mass amount of shovel ware the DS gets played a factor in it's place on the list. While the PSP gets some shovel ware it's not nearly as much as the DS.
Finally a top list that doesn't default to Nintendo being number 1.
Personally I think there is just a bit to many Hand helds on there but that's just me.
I wonder if he will be tweeting about how much he loves jumping puzzles :P
For the most part the AI in the Halo games are pretty bad. Aliens do nothing but hide or just rush you and the only thing that makes Legendary mode harder is that they all deal way more damage.
The friendly AI is absolutely useless as I have seen a Marine looking in the opposite direction of a brute shooting at him from 2 feet away until he was killed by said Brute.
AI when it comes to driving just either get you killed in 3 seconds don't know where its going or jus...
There have been countless devs that have used UE3 to make games and every single game from all those different devs are riddled with glitches even the games from the company who created the engine Epic. Gears 1 and 2 while great games indeed are full of glitches everywhere you look be it horrible collision detection or getting stuck in walls of any of the other countless things people exploit in multiplayer.
The engine is a inherently unstable engine pretty much every game that r...
Honestly EA could probably save money but just releasing the next version of the game as a DLC roster update for like 20$ and I bet you all the crazy Madden fans would buy it. I bet it would be more profitable too since EA wouldn't have to put money into the development of a new game.
so tired of NES this and NES that.
Now yes the NES was a great system that had incredible games however there has been better consoles and better games since then.
I'm so tired of seeing these lists that compile all of gaming or whatever and the number 1 slot always go to either Super Mario or the NES. It's quite annoying.
Shadow complex has tons of glitches?
*GASP* A unreal engine 3 game has glitches SHOCKING!!!!
yeah that was sarcasm as there has yet to be a unreal engine 3 game that didn't have tons of glitches.
Meh I don't think it's the right kinda game for the Wii but that's just me. I also think that the new Silent Hill coming to the Wii is a bad idea and from what I have seen it doesn't even look that good.
The only thing I will be playing on my Wii in the forseeable future is Muramasa.
I would say NO. Most of the games on that list that I care about are multi platform with the exception of Mass Effect 2.
The PS3 is most likely going to have a TON of new games announced at TGS. There are still series that we have yet to see make the jump to PS3 that we know will be in the near Future like the SMT series or Persona in particular.
I highly doubt they are going to announce a 360 version of the game as it's not exactly the type that appeals to the 360 crowd. Not enough space marines or w.e it is they enjoy.
I would hope they all along they were planning a PS2 version of the 2nd game and that they will announce that. However that's really doubtful.
The sad part is most of these women think that gaming = I love miss pac-man and pong.
Yeah needless to say these people are not gamers nor do they play games in their free time.
If we are talking about has gameplay ever hit you and made you cry then there are 2 games that come to mind.
One is Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII. You are completely in control during a large sequence of the ending and you know what is coming and that you cannot change Zack's death while playing I was choked up at the thought that no matter how long i could survive the battle Zack was gonna die and that was during game play not a cut scene.
The other is Persona 3. T...
There has been quite a few games that have made me cry. Final Fantasy VII and X come to mind.
The biggest one however is the entire last 4-5 hours of Xenosaga Episode 3 had me tearing up or in full blow tears because it was so heartbreaking.
Shadow of the Colossus hit me pretty hard and I'm sure everyone who has played it knows what part I'm talking about.
Oh and lets not forget Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII that ending was made especially painful becaus...
See with this question it's really all about what kind of game. If it's something like say Left For Dead where you are expecting to play this title online for quite awhile then you want the sequel to takes it time and maybe have a 2-3 year gap.
However if it's a game that has a story and that's why you are playing it like say Final Fantasy you would want the gap to be much much smaller.
It all depends on the game and what you expect to do with it.
To be honest with you alot of these are sequels that I don't really care about Kingdom Hearts excluded.
Most of the better games on the list are known to soon have sequels like Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper. Even though they are not official the devs behind them have pretty much said they are going to happen at some point.
A sequel or remake I would really love to see is Xenosaga. The 3rd game did leave teh series somewhat open to a sequel or if Bandai/Namco wanted ...
Personally I don't really care about DLC in a game like FFXIII more often then not it's just a extra dungeon to explore Ala Lost Odyssey and if that's the case I will go and buy a different game to get a new fresh experience instead of a tacked on one.
If they do something like added episodes ala Disgaea 3 and the Raspberyl side story then that would be great and certainly worth the money.
Honestly the only thing I really want via DLC is the Japanese voice track cons...
If they start putting superheros into KH games it will easily ruin the entire series and chances of it happening despite Disneys recent Marvel buyout are pretty much Nil.
I just use PS3mediacenter which works perfectly so I wouldn't really care if they make it standard on the PS3 itself since the media center works pretty much the same way it would if they did make it standard
