Regardless of what Sony did or didn't do the fact remains that what geohot did was completely irresponsible. Just because some people wont use this method for piracy it I can guarantee that plenty will. If someone figured out your ss# would u be upset if it were put on the net for everyone to see? Although some people wont do anything with it I can guarantee plenty of others will try to steal your identity. Im not backing sony but its obvious that this kid is an attention whore.
If you really wanna see who has more quality exclusives go to metacritic and see who has more "console" exclusive title rated above 85. Im sorry but in terms of quality games PS has MS beat. You have gears, halo, fable, forza, alan wake, and left 4 dead. Sony has the games but, MS has the group mentallity. ( My friend has 360 so I have to get it to...... although there are some games that I would love to play on ps3)

Im a gamer but, I dont have both systems. It takes alot of time and I have abt 20 games that I havent played yet. My pt is that you dont have to have every system to be a gamer, you just have to love to play video games whether its 360 or ps3 they are both great just different. Its like fighting over which victoria's secret model looks better.

OMG!!! I dont know which is worse, the ps3 being hacked or all of these damn articles that have been written abt it. This is beyond ridiculous!!! The reason Geohot is being sued is because he strives for the attention. He wants the notoriety but complains abt the repurcussions. Last time I checked fail-overflow did all the hard work and he just piggybacked off of it. The reason he is being sued and they arent is because they were intelligent enough and humble enough to do things anonamously. For the past year and a half sony has always had more quality games than MS. Sure, the multiplatform games perform better, but thats due to the publishers looking at MS install base and deciding to use the 360 as the lead platform. If you look at metacritic ps3 has more exclusives above 85 than MS and thats just factual. XBLA may have more games but if your looking quality exclusives with variety ps3 is where its at. ( not to take anything away from 360 it has a great overall line up as well...
This has become a real headache. All of this because a few people ( one person to be realistic) just couldnt keep their mouth shut.
Modding your console or hardware is one thing but, when you release that information online it's becomes a problem. You have to be responsible abt these things, when your motives become clouded and it turns into a circus....... thats when you end up in ct.

Activision is full of it!!!! I think that this PS3 hack is their perfect diversion to try to rationalize a pay to play online multiplayer. They're gonna state that due to increased security concerns and to create the best possible experience for online gaming this fee is necessary......... B.S.
Great game I thought it should have sold more. One of the better titles of this generation. If you dont have one you should def pick it up its only like 15 bucks!!!!
