MGS rising 360 exclusive, M$ purchases insomniac games, or Gears of war "PS" 3.
But most games that launch are always buggy and ultimately get a patch to stabilize their performance. The only 2 games that come to mind when thinking of a significant difference in overall performance was the orange box and bayonetta. (Maybe black ops but that game was just buggy overall) but in general multiplatform releases are now very comparable if not the same. that statement was definately true in the beginning of ps3's life cycle but I really dont think it still hold that much me...
Everyone always says that but, can you give me a good reason why it wont. I have (had 360 bit the bullet a couple months back) both systems and just prefer the ps3 because of the exclusives. Online play wasnt that different in my mind. The layout for live was much better and smoother but overall I cant say that the differences were night and day.
Those are great numbers but I honestly dont get it. 360 is a great system but I think in terms of games the PS3 has a better overall selection. Even if people dont agree, there really isnt any reason that the 360 should be outselling the ps3 the way it has been. The numbers should be alot closer. I wouldnt be suprised if the Wii did sell half million. The Wii sold for 99 dollars. For most shoppers on black friday quality doesnt drive sales, low prices do. When people are looking at the 3 consoles and are wondering which one to buy the $100 difference is the deciding factor. So congrats Wii............ for being cheaper.
Their has been tons of great games that have come out since but, I think metal gear (while not the best) still hold its own. The fact that CoD has become a sports game is the reason that so many people are getting tired of the series. Maybe its just me but, I can always wait until the next day to purchase a game. I have a job and unfortunately (as much as I would love to) I dont get paid to play video games. 2. Its multiplatform and multiplatform games (good or bad) more times than not sell pretty well.

People need to stop being so dependent on game reviews. At the end of the day the people who review games are ........"human" just like me and you, they have biases, they have likes, dislikes, and preferences. You can always take what they say into consideration but, at the end of the day your gonna be the one playing the game. Perfect example is gta 4 I thought the game was ok but, most reviewers thought it was the greatest game ever. I personally like san andreas better.

I never said the 360 has a drought of quality games, I actually stated that 360 is a great system. As for your metacritic rebuttal, if you were to take a look at that list, most of those games are multiplatform, xbla ( which for some reason dont appeal to the mass public and the same goes for psn as well), and dont forget to add rated DLC.
