I'll always prefer to own the Blu-Ray, but it's great to rent a movie first to see if I want it to keep. Being able to get the HD version is a real bonus.
Well that's the point. FFXIII is multiplatform, so the ammount of reviews should be the same - If not, then the game is not being reviewed seperately, which is ALSO the point.

GOW 3 will be startlingly good, I know this based on common sense and the first two games so no, no amount of scores will change that.
It's the fact that OTHER (negative) people will say "Ha ha, GOW sucks because it 'only' got 8 from such and such site" more than anything.

I didn't think the story was bad, just badly told (bordering on incoherent at times). With the cut scenes & voice overs of the first game it would have been far more enjoyable.
Not long now before we PS3 owners find out that we do indeed seem to know more than most gaming journalists these days.
I'm also laughing my socks off at the droning 360 zombies celebrating the "low" 8/8.5 scores. It's hilarious watching them pretend that they wouldn't wet their knickers if the game was announced for 360 tomorrow.

You'd think the 'hardcore' fans would tend towards Sony and already have a PS3 though. Maybe the 360 ones are just getting it to see 'what the fuss is about', or simply because it's no longer an exclusive.
Wait for HEAVY RAIN syndrome to kick in. All the "10" reviews get ignored by the 360 zombies while they flock to the 8.5's like the bleating sheep that they are.
