First you are correct, it is fake. The time on screen through the video is suspicious as mentioned somewhere below, the coding for PS3 is only known to those who have purcahsed the Developement Pack... which is fairly expensive and is unique, not even like the Cell Servers so only legitimate developers know how to code for PS3 within XMB with the exception of the odd game save file which is XML etc.
Such a program would be a waste of time, as a firmware update would stop the soft...

The 360 does not have a 6 million userbase advantage.
Alot of the shipped 360's are replacements for the broken ones and alot are for those who have been banned by piracy.
I doubt even microsoft knows what it's install base is. I believe that the 360 is even with PS3 on install base at the very best, if not below for the above reasons.

Yeah I heard it is great year for any console, including the Wii.
Even PC is getting huge exclusives, not sure if the StarCraft remake is this year or last year, but if someone says it is already out, it is time for me to visit Overclockers.co.uk and start building my new PC!!

PS3 is the mature gaming console.
