Cockpit view or bonnet view makes it look so much better because everything looks bigger!
In Pacific Rift if you looked to the sides in this above videos crappy 3rd person view you'd see the monster truck. But with the bonnet view.... you'd only see that big a55 monster truck wheel menancing close to you, dominating the view!

I loved that Killzone 2 2005 trailer, and I loved Killzone 2. But neither the Killzone 2 game nor Killzone 3 game gets anywhere near that trailer.
