Think of it this way, almost any game story will make for a bad movie. Try to cut down any game's story to 2-3 hours and make it interesting enough for fans of the game and others who aren't. At least Uwe has the balls to go for it. Are his movies bad? Hell yes! But one day we will look back and laugh, like we do at the campy horror B movies from the 60's. Uwe you will have your moment of greatness, but you won't be around to appreciate it, like most artists.

If you weren't interested in the early ones, this one probably won't change things. If you have enough money to buy games just cause your friends will, well kudos to you. Probably a bad habit though

Just the first time one was documented, although I am still kinda skeptical about this. I think it is fully possible to FC the song, but I'm not really sure the controller can recognize the button presses, say you push a button on the controller 100 times the controller might register 98-99 of them.
I would be surprised if they didn't implement a few from the Diamond/Pearl series, but they might put less in, because of the assist trophies.
"Nintendo fans will take anything?" So if Sony or Microsoft made a game with all of their major system icons (and it was actually a good game) no one would buy it? Granted this is near impossible now due to the lack of exclusivity. But people would jump all over it if that ever happened.
Power Stone was a good game though, no denying that.
Me and friends and relatives still play Melee a lot. Plus most of the new characters are pretty awesome. After they announced Snake and Sonic I thought there was no way they could shock me again, then in comes Olimar. This game cannot fail.

This possibly sounds like the difficulty is pretty high, which is good. I laughed at the people that said DMC3 was too hard. It was pretty hard to begin with but once you got used to it and figured out which weapons and strategies worked best, it was pretty manageable. Sorry 12 year old button mashers.

But I wonder if they are trying to do too much in one game. I hope this game is good, been a Sonic fan as long as I've been playing games. There hasn't been a good game in my opinion since SA2 and that's stretching it. Hopefully this game is to Sonic as Super Mario RPG was to Mario.
