And you can keep your damn Dreamcast too!!!
*Edit* Guess the sarcasm fell flat on it's face.
Waste it's time? VF5 may have been released awhile ago, but it is still the best next gen fighter out there.
Why do we have such low standards, either give us a remake or don't give us anything.
I'm not convinced that FF13 will be out this year. This will be the first FF for the PS3. Almost every high profile game has been delayed at some point. I would be shocked if it wasn't delayed.
Who wants to guess that MGS is gonna be number one?
For bigger money, which game could possibly overtake MGS as 2008's #1 game?
If any game has a shot, my guess is Smash Bros.
Not to 360 owners, and platforming isn't everyones cup of tea. Not saying that I agree with the order, just trying to find a reason for it.
Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, and SSBB will be a pretty good trio, not as good as Mario, Zelda, Metroid, but still pretty good. That is IF Animal Crossing comes out this year, if not, next winter will be pretty cold for Nintendo.
And why the hell is Chun Li golfing!? Crossovers keep getting more bizarre by the second.
It was the best selling console all year, plus there are still people who want it and can't get it. And unlike people who want PS3 or 360 and can't get it, it's not due to price.
Edit: Although this doesn't mean you are wrong about the Wii's sparse library.
Where's Desktop Tower Defense?
But then eBay would be killing the video game industry. Not that anyone complaining about gamestop talked about that.
Jealous cause you can't find a Wii? Haha, kidding, honestly though the wii is like next gen times 10 to people unfamiliar with video games. That is why it sells so well.
Plus I thought at first you were nuts when saying the PSP could have tied the DS, then I realized. There is NOTHING huge coming out soon for the DS that I can think of. The only two games I am excited for are Advance Wars and Apollo Justice, but those are niche titles at best.
I don't see why people don't get that video game values depreciate over time. Saw someone at a gamestop argue because they were trying to sell their copy of Perfect Dark Zero for the same price they bought it. Course it was a 12 yr old spoiled brat with his dad who was constantly on his cell.
I just loved it how he read the back of the case acting like it was stuff he knew about the game. If he didn't know about the game that's cool. As you said BloodySinner, no one can know about every game, especially a niche title like Touch Detective. I found it funny that he would rather lie and act like he knew about it then say "I've never heard of this game before." He wasn't too bad though, I've dealt with worse, but thats a story for another day.
What do you mean developers don't have to jump hoops to sell games to the us. Not all the popular games in the world come from America you know. And before you say those aren't important, why is MS trying so hard to get a seller JRPG for the 360, one on the level of Final Fantasy. Blue Dragon failed to do that, and they are about to try again with Lost Odyssey.
I kind of get what you are saying. The US is the biggest market, but don't act like the rest of the world is that ins...
He's trying to tell you to buy a ds because it's better than the psp.
Haha, just kidding, don't want to start that fight. Why do people complain so much about selling their games. If you don't like the price you don't have to sell it you know. Leave the people alone and let them do their jobs, if you think you can do better, put in an application there.
GameStop does have a lot of titles that you wouldn't normally find in a Wal-Mart or a target. Plus the GameStop employees in my area actually know what they are talking about for EVERY system. I kinda took that for granted, visited my family up north, went to the GameStop there. I asked a question about a DS game, the guy read the back of the case to me. I couldn't help but laugh.
The game has been getting hyped well in advance. Plus, Heavenly Sword wasn't on Burger King's Fry cartons and Cups. Oh and there wasn't a Heavenly Sword soft drink either. I saw the commercial for Game Fuel more times then I saw commercials for the game.
Can someone explain how this picture is relevant? My guess is that VG Chartz is actually becoming reliable, hence, end of the universe.
I'm sure Guitar Hero sold a lot of PS2's.
Am I the only one who went into this article thinking how the hell is Burnout for the Wii a must own?
All kidding aside, I think the Big 3 (Mario, Zelda, Metroid) are the only must own games. Zak and Wiki's pretty good, but you can live without it. Same with SPM. GH3 in all it's mono glory? No thanks (I know they are replacing the discs, but with PS2 graphics and it's DLC future in the air, still no). Resident Evil 4, seriously? Maybe if you have never played it before, ever. T...
