What? This murder happened in December, and the preliminary hearings started recently.

Confused by the disagrees here, there are only two options here. Both can't be wrong.
This is for people that monogram their boxer shorts, I mean yeah it's cool and all, to you at least, maybe. But no one else gives a damn. I mean, I don't pay attention to any of these things, why should you?
I have to agree with that. I tried to get into Motorstorm, but the loading times were horrendous. I had to wait a few seconds to see a car's other paint job? Once you got into the game it was fine, but the time it took to get there kept me away.
"Why talk about how powerful the thing is if you have nothing to show but tech demos of games that has yet to come out and probably wont."
Try looking at some Gran Turismo 5 footage, you might be surprised.
Oh great here comes the sappy love story, which is pretty messed up for a Max Payne movie.
It should be a surprise to no one that MK had anything to do with this.
"she thinks Roberts made up the Mortal Kombat story to look tough."
This makes absolute sense. Not trying to be morbid or anything, but if they were using "Mortal Kombat moves" the murder would have been a lot bloodier. I mean seriously, the only moves that distinguish MK from martial arts or movies would be the fatalites and the over the top specials such as the harpoon.
You have to wonder what is going on in MS's gaming division, are they gonna stick with the 360? Or start preparing its successor.
Let's not forget the General Lee.
It's ok, not as cool as the other special ones, Zelda, Nintendogs, Pokemon.
it's highly unlikely, since the price of these kind of games never goes down.
The heart of the matter is that there is a difference between someone liking something, and that thing being "good". Example: I love Dynasty Warriors 6, does that make it a good game, hell no! It is a very blurry line...
Maybe expectations blur that line even further. Everyone can overlook something because of their expectations. You don't want to be disappointed by something you have been looking forward too for so long, so you overlook flaws that other people who ar...
Stop generalizing huh, that is an impossibility when trying to write a review for the general public, which is what my comment was about. It had more to do with the reviews than the game.
Hell I could have made my comment about fast food compared to gourmet food to prove my point, maybe I should have, then it wouldn't have gotten mixed up.
@3.6
I have to admit, the buzz surrounding LO was pretty intense for awhile, of course if that buzz doesn't last, it's nothing.
It is all based on your background, someone who has grown up playing RPG's their whole life will find LO dull and contrived. While someone who has only played one or two of them will find it amazing. THIS is something reviews rarely consider.
But I completely agree with the "fixing the hole" theory. This is exactly what Mistwalker's purpose was.
Hey, for all we know they could just be the Burger King games.
Ignoring the Star Wars people I also like the touch with the other two characters. Hilde and Siegfried represent the light, Ivy and Nightmare represent the dark. Although I would have preferred someone else instead of Ivy for the evil side, Raphael or Cervantes maybe. But then again, you need to remind people who don't know the name of the game that it is the one with the hugely endowed dominatrix in it, I guess.
Edit: Then again now that I think about this I don't think they ar...
I was wondering when the Ralph Nader of this format war would emerge.
Oh I can wait for a Sonic game, especially if it is in 3d.
Um, wouldn't a 10 point system that is separated by tenths be the same thing as a 100 scale? A 1-5 scale with halves is the same as 1-10 straight numbers.
Make whatever scale you want, people will still complain about reviews. I think that people who are on gaming sites just use scores for discussions anyways. Myself included, because, I don't need a review to tell me I am going to play a game or not.
I would like to see a site rip off Ebert and Siskel/Roeper's syst...
