Those drop quickly when you have a decent levelled Warrior, and Sorc pawns. You don't want to wander in the dark after you get to a 'certain' point. That's when DD gets serious.
But yeah, what you said is right. You'll get dropped.
Many companies do it. It's just Apple, being who they are, have attracted the most attention for it.
How I see it: It won't happen. I wouldn't even bet on it. Why? It's still far too expensive. If they take out physical copies, they'd get away with changing £49.99 for a new release regularly. You'd expect it to be cheaper, since less goes into production. However, it won't be. If they do try it, they'll find that their sales don't increase as much as they thought. You can even see that with a bit of research.
That's ridiculous right ...
I can comprehend the first part. However, the Breivik incident. I can see how you can put video games in as a factor. Since that is what research does. It's not 100% conclusive, but who ever said it was? xD
I would assume that would be the case. Doubt they want a poor version being put out.
Hope it's another good show. Always interesting to see what all parties are bringing to the table.
Sounds* like this could turn out really well.
I can't wait.
Why is this a rumour, when the teaser was released confirming this? (well, confirmed a trailer)
Hot Pursuit wasn't too bad.
However, the old NFS games.. awesome stuff.
Lol, it's at the start of the game. Your pawn will constantly remind you too. Having a team without diversity, will get you wiped out quickly.
It's a good game.
This comes up each time something mentioning HHG appears. He wasn't disliked for his skin colour, or cause he liked gaming. Yes, many will say he had some points to make. However, the main issue was the quality. You'd have to be extremely drunk to consider 'some' of the stuff he said.
Nothing to do with being a troll, or any of -insert the countless reasons you seem to produce-.
I certainly didn't expect this particular guy, to say anything against them. Did you?
Activision behave in a manner which merits the backlash they get. It's not about being a business, and gaining profit. I'm sure for years to come COD will continue to do just that. Whilst it does that, they could attempt to put out something fresh.
But do they? Nope.
Dedicated servers hosted by the devs/publishers themselves are better, than player hosted (that is the main complaint).
Why? Who enjoys getting booted when actually doing well in a game? Just cause you kill the server owner, constitutes a kick?
Pretty unfair, and deducts from the fun significantly.
Wouldn't be surprising.
They did pick up on things, at least so they say.
Not if shopto have something to say about that.
Still, looking forward to it.
Some of the lines Max says, perfect for the moment.
6GIG is quite a bit.
Especially if it's not optional.
Nope.
It's more that it is becoming too much of a regular thing. Which is why people are becoming annoyed.
Next-Gen seems more likely. If it doesn't happen then... never?
But it's the same with DLC, in a sense. If it beats forecasts, and sets record, why on earth would you change the process? Until COD stops selling like hotcakes, no new engine (or till next gen, maybe).
How about you do DLC properly, and ship games with all the content on the disk available from the get-go? That's a lovely start.
It's greed no doubt, how it is currently. Will it end? Not a chance. Until the model fails, it won't.
PS: But yes, his words were a bit different here than what I heard.
