It will never work.
'blocking' a website, for simply doing what Google does. (just less direct) is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure when they'll realise soon, it doesn't work, and attempt to impose more regulations. Which won't go down well either.
You also have to hope that this DLC makes up for the all that time.
If it's minimal things, they'll be greeted with a storm. If not, then yeah, praise will probably follow. (as long as the DLC doesn't cause more problems)
This is a beta, not a demo.
I don't know what Ubi plans are. However, it seems that their able to make modifications, and changes this way. Which is good. Maybe they'll release a demo? (Haven't heard anything though)
Chances are..
The people who use PB, also know how to get around it being blocked. This is just an attempt to increase the exes money hold.
There are a lot of reasons why many don't want to 'buy' things. It usually comes down to price. These days, a lot of things are becoming too expensive for the average person. Without a significant increase in wages etc. People usually need a strong reason to purchase.
Blizzard would disagree.
Still, I think sales will be lower, at least long term? (maybe..)
Careful Crytek.
Yes, it's nice to see them striving for pushing things. However, the last time I checked, their MP on C2 suffered. It fell apart from the get-go. If they don't support the product fully, what's the point in just pushing it, then leaving it dangling?
Ah, uninformed parents forking the blame on others. Nothing new.
Well, again, money talks.
If COD can sell millions, yearly. It's a huge sign that it may be possible to get in on the current trend. As some have said before, until COD hits a noticeable decline, a lot of devs/publishers will keep attempting to make something similar.
I don't think it kicks you off, once you're online. (unless it states)
Would be funny if it's not HS2, or GW4.
Not buying in a physical store = do Digital only?
Oh dear, Peter.
Cause money talks.
He's losing money, and that's a problem. Humble or not, he can't keep that up without some consequences.
It's rare I agree, but I do.
With Capcom, they know it will work. Why? For one it's Resident Evil. When the profits are looking like gamers notice, and are getting angry. Then you'll see Capcom change it's methods to adapt.
Shoddy methods only last so long.
That was pretty good, haha.
Yes.
It's just a lot better, in my opinion of course.
Milo?
I heard it was canned. Pretty much confirmed now though, since he's left MS?
Would you prefer he buys the game then stands in the street, with a sign post, protesting?
Not purchasing the game, is small, but it's much better than any other move. The only way DLC attempts like this will end, is when companies see it doesn't work. Sadly, their is no end in sight.
Hopefully, they've improved their own support for their product. Also, maybe this time we'll see less from the Crytek founder, talking it up.
Probably plenty of these around.
Once you see how much money you can get, everyone wants a piece of it. Sadly, it's not the people who want to use money for good things.
