Do Australians really have a higher wage than the UK. I'm sure that's the other way around.
Where your logic falters is on the amount of tax Australians pay on alcohol, which is much higher than in UK. So maybe not a great example.
Comparing Big Mac prices is better but then I don't know where I'm going with this either.
Meh, I mean, its just the same crap, different year. Think how good AC would be if it adhered to a release schedule similar to GTA?
If they released one AC game every three years this franchise wouldn't feel as stale as it does now.
Good. The world needs Nintendo!
The article mentions about more hacking. I'm not sure this would be the best solution. With Watch Dogs there was already enough button prompts and pop-ups on the screen that more would just make Watch Dogs a virtual Ubisoft Map with all icons blazing.
Tighten up the driving? The driving was like an arcade sim.
Good article. I haven't played this yet but from what I hear its impossible to finish without the actual manual since it contains a frequency they don't even talk about in the game.
Couldn't agree more. Some of the best parts of Bioshock in general were those quiet moments.
Like in Rapture, just hanging back and listening to a splicer and watching their shadow as they ramble on.
Walking around Columbia before the show starts, meeting Andrew Ryan, Sander Cohen.
It will be interesting to see how they travel without Ken Levine. The narrative was so strong in the games he was involved in.
A rant with no context or reasoning is just a rant.
EDIT: I'm pretty happy with my new 3DS. Xenoblade Chronicles and Majoras Mask play so good on it!
Would be cool to get Broforce on there.
Best of the 2d's for me would be A Link to the Past and Link Between Worlds. They would also be my top 2 overall.
Best of the 3d's would be Majora's Mask. I only played the 3DS version of that and can see why it was so polarizing in its original form. They did fix up a lot of problems that game had originally but I love that time mechanic.
Nothing better than the clock winding down as you're franctically trying to beat a dungeon and its boss. ...
I thought it was an ok game. Not great or anything.
Not that I'm big on online MP but the way the online MP part worked surprised me. It had a decent enough seemless online component.
The only thing I'd want Rockstar to learn from Watch Dogs is how to do online where it doesn't take a lifetime to load.
Yes and no. Assassins Creed is getting a bit old hat and Far Cry is probably heading that way too.
Watch Dogs wasn't a bad game but it was perfect either. I think a sequel to that game will greatly improve what was lacking in the original.
The main thing about Ubi open world games is that they should strive for the less is more approach. A map littered with icons/collectibles for stuff to do is becoming ever increasingly dull.
@OrangePowerz
Your economics is dead right. Plus people are getting carried away with this without knowing exactly what they're paying for.
They give a broad idea but really no one knows how much content will be provided. The previous Batman games had what, 8-10 hr story campaigns? If the story dlc is roughly that long you would be effectively paying for a new game.
Either way I'll reserve judgement until we find out more. The hive m...
Psygnosis had the Midas touch back then. It's very sad they're gone. So much variety came out of them.
The trailer for that Formula Fusion looks very early days. Would like to see some gameplay to see how it runs.
The Burnout series was great but 2 was way better than 3. The takedown mechanic slowed down the pace of the game too much for my liking.
You're out of your element! - sorry obligatory and probably overdone.
But your first point, absolutely. If I was still 14 - 24 yrs I would be playing games like Dark Souls 3x over with 300hrs+.
For the young it can be easy to not see this perspective.
Not everyone likes games made by From Software man.
Why can't you put too difficult or too long as reasons to not like a game?
That Good Game show is hard to watch. It's really aimed at 6-14 year olds. Although sometimes Hex and Bajo do say things about some games that surprise me.
It's like they're being honest. Its kinda surreal.
I was surprised by the content of the article. There were interesting points made. But it is sparse and mainly made up of big ass images. Really poorly presented.
The sensationalist headline does them no favours either. And I don't think it is wonderful if the fact "triple A games are failing" were true. To quote G.W. Bush "its hard to put food on your family."
You couldn't be more right. Its crazy how people on N4G overreact to stuff like this.
No one knows how much content you're going to get for $40. And even then you have the choice whether you pay for it or not.
As for the cut-content argument. How do you know they had it all completed but then cut it from the game?
