Good article but I couldn't disagree more with the opening paragraph about Nintendo's lack of experimentation. Majora's Mask is a great game and easily the best of the 3d Zelda's imo.
Yep, an analog stick/nub on the right hand side that works really well and improved 3D capability. Before the 3D would make the screen all fuzzy if you looked at the screen from an angle.
Also the system is a little bit faster.
One of the best games ever made. One thing that annoyed me about the T.E. Edition was how the announcer's voice was slightly different and how you couldn't break the glass of the backboard.
Yeah I'm hazarding a guess that they're saving the state of the entire database for the game at that point.

Are you too young to remember the cartridge era? 16bit games were around the $140 mark in Australia I imagine. They were 160-190 in NZ.

Yeah they've given a high level view of what the season pass contains but no one really knows how much content/value you're going to get for $40.

Yeah I'm not buying it either. There's a good cross section of gamers who aren't that into games and reading "game journalism/opinion pieces" but will just merrily buy COD and nothing else. Maybe a sports title also.

Nice list. There are some cracking games coming out but 2015 overall is a bit of a dud year. 2016 releases are where its at.

Yeah Xenoblade has a lot, and for the most part the loot is crap and most are fetch quests but for the most part I'm really enjoying them.
I like how for some of them you don't have to return to the person who gave you the quest. More games should do that.

Yah the decision is motivated by greed and its a cruel business decision for us all but if they have no passion in video games then meh, I don't want their games.
I'd take 2-3 new studio's coming out of Konami than just Konami being Konami any day of the week.

QTE's can be done right like in Xenoblade Chronicles. I just can't stand the mid cut scene ones.
