MS has should a pattern of neglect after 6+ years in their console life cycle. Having quality games 6 plus years into a console's lifetime is important to me. I have a PC currently connected to my HDTV and I use that for my TV needs and work of course. PC's are best made for productivity and consoles for games.

With that being said, yeah the X1 will have the ability to be a dev kit in the future-------> not a day one feature. This will not happen out the gate.
Now if you really think Microsoft will ONLY be charging the cost of a console to make games are bunking in the same bed with Peter Pan and the lost boy's while playing 3DS with Twinker Bell

Looks good,I do admit. But Heavenly Sword for PS3 had just as good mocap and some of the best acting I've witness in a game.
I have to admit, nothing much has wowed me about Next Gen. Everything so far looks good. You can see the graphical difference from 360 to X1...But X1 games looks like PS3 exclusives...and what PS4 has showed so far..has been moderate.

These many about face also hints to me, that the X1 had no real intention on focusing on games as the primary medium. Gamers had to virtually uproar and got what they wanted.

Just because Xbox1 relies so heavily on the need to have a cable provider. I will never own one. Plus with the original Xbox when the 360 came out they killed it... With the release of the 360...it feels the same way again. the past two years has been a waste land in terms of games for for Xbox.

Sony has delivered so far this generation. It blows my mind when I hear people say Sony over promise and under deliver.
Sony promise a great gaming experience this generation and they have provided just that. And just as the PS4 arrive they are still providing great exclusive gaming experience..

It's interesting how Microsoft is back peddling. The Xbox1 will focus more on everything else except games. Microsoft is using Xbox1 as a Trojan horse. Xbox1 will will be a portal for all other Microsoft's products. There will be a major focus on TV and when there's TV there is Ads.

What Microsoft is trying to usher in in is not good for gaming. It's better for big media because they now have a platform to heavily monetize on.
Everything Microsoft is doing is bad. What about legacy gaming? Why would you want to kill that? Legacy gaming produce a future workforce and fans.
Why make a process that was once sensible to a complex set of actions to do something that every human should do a little more off "Share something" ...

Average Joe will buy a Xbone. Well the hardcore gamer/ first adapters has tremendous consumer pull. That's why there's an E3 and etc to get a reaction out of the hardcore and begin word of mouth hype train. Early adapters are a prize market because they can make or break your brand by word of mouth. You now add social media to the whole aspect and the first adapters/hardcore voice does have an affect on the average Joe, Google fact.

This is the biggest bunch of crap ever. It's okay to purchase a used everything else but not a game. Purchasing a use car don't hurt the car manufacturer? A used cell phone don't hurt the maker. Same goes for a a pair of used speakers, stereo and etc.
