While the Internet is decidedly up in arms about the way the Xbox One handles game ownership and online check-ins, Mehdi said it was "hard to say" what the larger reaction from the less attentive mainstream consumers would be. "I think it's fair to say there's a segment of consumers at this show in particular who really pay attention, who are very passionate about all aspects of gaming, and that we listen to closely. In a broader set of community, people don't pay a...
You kind sir...
Very clever
I'm already a Plus member (membership just lapsed, I have to renew). What I'm concern about is Amazon.com posting PS4 game prices at $100.00. I'm beginning to wonder if that is Sony's compromise to game publishers?!?I hope not...that will be more disappointed.
The use game market. I'm a fan for consumer rights. You buy a physical item/s you should have the RIGHT to do as you please with said item/s.
of Things PS3 owners had 7yrs of free online gaming. I'm a Plus member only because of the games. Don't really mind paying to play since in a sense that's what I've been doing with the new games from Plus.
Plus no DRM and you can share games. You can even share games on your PS3 Digital and hard copy.
Plus no DRM...I do purchase use games later in the cycle to get great games, I never had a chance to play at bargains.
I feared if Sony went MS route out of pure pride I would have ditched console gaming. I can't be a party to such a practice only because I cannot logically comprehend it.
I happy Sony has taken everything they've learned from the PS3 and tried their best to fix it. Most importantly Sony showed me they are a game company first and w...
I believe that Microsoft was entertaining this business model about 10 years ago. It was evident with the 360, it went from a core gamer machine to a casual and media app heavy machine over the last 3 years for sure.
Microsoft has slowly changed they way a 360 owner thinks about their machine. Even today right now the 360 is less of a gaming machine than anything out there. Microsoft has been puching casual content and media content the pass three years to soften the blow ...
From your comment you are the one that needs to grow up.
People are allowed to state their opinions and their displeasures. Have fun with your Xbox One.....Do you know why it's called Xbox One?------Drum roll please----Because Microsoft just took 359 steps backwards!!!!!
" Microsoft appears to have invested a massive amount in accommodating live TV when the overall trend is moving towards time-shifted viewing and streaming media - something it almost completely ignored in its presentation. It's a very curious decision and a massive gamble"
I will not pay the Cable companies the rape fees they charge, plus membership for Live Gold.
I see Microsoft current focus on making the Xbox One a financial gold mine f...
I am a cord cutter. I got raid CABLE TV. From the looks of it, you will need cable TV to enjoy the max benefit of the Xbox One.
Because of this I would rather wait for a Apple TV and I am not the biggest fan of Apple. I think Apple will do a better job and I will not have to pay for CABLE TV.
I want something that gives me media capabilities without the need to acquire another bill in my life. I do not want to be forced to take a bundle from Comcast to en...
What's funny N4G was not pro-sony two years ago plus. If you go back and read some of the hate for Sony it's very interesting the transition the site has made.
Two years ago there was no love for Sony. For example: Xbox 360 sells more games, more consoles, is more powerful look at the mutli-platform games and etc.
It's funny to see so many change their prospective on Sony...
Than the next Xbox. I want a great media device that provides me great entertainment across the board. Most importantly I want a great gaming experience.
Microsoft has proven they do not care about a great gaming experience look at the pass three years? There's no real great gaming moments on the 360 since it's original debut.
I find it interesting that the Xbox came out with great games and as time went on the great games that made the Xbox slowly...
With the Move to be honest. It made so much sense and it was not a gimmick. I was amazed and sold on the potential of motion gaming for a game like that. I play with Dual Shock and MOVE prefer Move...it made the game far more engaging and powerful.
I'm not sure if anyone played Heavy Rain with the PS Move, but It would be interesting to gauge peoples opinion..
RROD has help Microsoft in the sales department. Because how many of those sales are people re-purchasing a 360 2-3 times? Because it failed on them. When my 360 failed, I just transition over to my PS3 many people felt obligated to continue to purchase or replace their faulty 360 versus purchasing a more expensive console like a PS3...
Sales does not make a great experience, with all the sales figure and 20 months being number one in the States in sales....does not really ...
@Delboy... Sorry bud no BC....
I cancel my cable and will never return. This does not look good. Every new reiteration of the Xbox slowly takes away from the core functionality of being a game console.
If I need to have cable to get the most of the Next Xbox. I will say they have failed. 27 million people last year said goodbye to their cable company. And that figure has went up every year for the pass few years.
I feel that Microsoft may be courting the cable companies to help the...
Well Said...EPIC!!!!
Looks simply amazing. I'm only wondering was that PC footage or PS4?
He seems to be pushing his agenda....which it looks to be mobile and online games.
Going down. If a business knows they have a monopoly on a segment they will take full advantage of it.
I would have thought prices for CDs and Digital copies of said CD's would have gone down since the digital age. But CD's are still expansive and DVD's are really not as cheap as they should be and Blu-rays seems like the prices has raised.
Business are in it to make money at the end of the day which I understand. But Microsoft stance with the...
