Microsoft is slowly trying to inch their way into the world's living room as a media device. The original Xbox was a pure gaming machine, 360 was a pure gaming machine in the beginning but is more of an media device today than a game machine...I welcome Microsoft approach because I am a cord cutter and I home their media intensive approach will make the cable companies change their tune.

Quality games and experience...and if Orbis will be 5Xs more powerful than PS3, I'm in. I believe the PS3 is a very powerful gaming console especially when 1st parties studios partake in game development and time and thought is placed (Hitman: Absolution PS3 was the lead console). Are you serious, Xbox 360 is the best console if you want a set up box to pay a subscription to watch and use apps that can be used for free. If you're looking to play quality games...you need to look elsewhere.
I find it interesting that people talk about 360 beating PS3 is sales...blah..blah. But what people fail to realize is that of those 70+ million sales how many are attributed to the replacement of console due to RROD, malfunction to the DVD tray, and etc. I can't pay no mind to Xbox 360 sales figured cause it's seriously flawed. I would cut the numbers in half....Because everyone I know that owns a 360 are on their 2nd 360 at the minimum..I know people dumb enough to be on their 4t...
Phantom Pain and Metal Gear GZ are the same game. They are not separate games. I believe this is a masterful viral brain***k to get people hype for MGS again and have people talking about it. In MGS:GZ and Phantom Pain. If anyone notice the guy has a bandage around his eye. In the trailer for MGS:GZ Snake has an eye patch on the same eye. And I want to say the PS3 is the lead platform. Whats very troubling about the Wii U. Nintendo has never once release any hard specs for the console. If they are trying to cater to hardcore gamers, that is a big fail IMO. When 360 and PS3 was release we where bombarded with specs. I find it dis-concerning that a third party has to rip apart a Wii U and play Sherlock Holmes to get specs for the public. Even tho this is a rumor....I believe the the heart of the rumor. The next Gen consoles will showcase some security feature to thwart used games. Microsoft and Sony next gen console has released rumors about the same desire to prevent used game sales. So there have to be some truth to this.
This Generation publishers have been trying creative ways to limit used games sales...DLC...Elite Membership...PSN PLUS...Online Pass and etc..If i was a publisher I will petition Son...
The Xbox 360 will be around when the Xbox720 comes out...MS has to do a Sony...have the life of the PS2 continue while the PS3 is debut.

It's a double edge sword. it will be interesting to see where this goes int he future. Digital will be increasingly the way to go for companies to maximize their profits.

Micrsoft ultimate goal is an entertainment device to compete with the Apple and Cable companies of the world. And the Xbox was used as a Trojan horse. Look how the Xbox brad stands today and this moment. The Xbox brand right now is not about gaming it's about a causal affair and accessing media.
Sony on the other still has amazing games in route and the Xbox brand has nothing in terms of great and exciting exclusive content slated for this year (for the Xbox 720 yeah b...
