The thing is no one has seen retros engine. For everyone whoowns a Wii U heres all you need to feel better bout our gam system.
A connected source told us that Retro Studios has been charged with creating game engines for Wii U and helping other developers implement them. While we didn’t get any specifics on what exactly “other developers” means, our source commented that Retro’s work involves both internal and external projects. The icing on the cake? Apparently Retro showed...
Agreed I hope that every company does well. The world needs the 3 companies to do well.
Bitter?
Unlike you I don't work for a games company, Don't have a tattoo of a console manufacturer on my body and I don't have a companies blood running through my veins. I was merely stating that had it been released on 3 systems instead of 2 it would have moved more units.
You seem to forget that Wii U owners were looking for good games to buy. Sorry old ports that don't perform better yet not the same as older versions don't inspire people to sp...
@ Baka-akaB that's like saying that it will only sell to hardcore on Sony and Microsoft consoles. Guess what it didn't sell well Should they have set there numbers on selling 100,000 units? You heard it directly from the horses mouth. Spin it whichever way you want to make yourself sleep better at night as far as what they spent money they borrowed investors they have to pay overhead and under head they need to get back that's why they needed to sell more.
@ cebal...
How can you be an afterthought when people say your name every day. Wasn't Tiger Woods an afterthought not to long ago but he now has an ad that says something like winning makes everything alright.
If Nintendo play there cards right and somehow upstage the other two companies they can win.
Here are a few keys.
1. We know how Nintendo likes to come out and throw numbers around well this year screw the numbers as a consumer who cares what you sold...
When I saw the report I had to laugh. I honestly feel for Nintendo because they are going to always be the butt of a joke.
But lets take a step back for a moment and look at things from a different perspective. The reason why the UE4 will be used on the WIIU it all comes down to sales. With developers reporting losses at a alarming rate it will be hard for them not to try to port a game to the WIIU system Case and point square says that they didn't hit there goal with laura croft...
But it was only two platforms.
It's crazy to think Nintendo is just sitting back and not seeing what's happening. They know that they have to come hard at E3 or don't come at all. Just think about this Epic has been working on there tech demo for a while and Nintendo did there WII U demo's in what 10 minutes. Retro has a engine X looks great, Bayonetta no doubt will be great. One sign that Nintendo isn't worried is because they know that the system that wins is the system that has the most games. Just ...
Hmnnnnnn mobile gaming where to start. The reason why so many mobile games sale is because so many suck. You buy a game for a day and wham it's boring and you say why did I waste my money. The controls on a phone not even commenting. In the end there's no competition.
The flyer is really brilliant.
Person goes into the store to get a game system for there child or themselves Sees the WII U and says this looks interesting and sees the WII U and thinks the WII is a better value.
Sees the flyer and says oh snap this is a new system does about 20 things more than the WII. Now they get home glad they got a new system with a new control option in HD.
Anything that Nintendo can do to divert attention from the WI...
You want to put money on that?
I didn't get them so I guess your wrong.
The real issue def isn't the price or the name. I don't think it's the name the name is what it is if you're still biching about it get over it.
With that being said here's an example of why the system doesn't sale. Not every store has a demo unit and the ones that have it has an old out dated demo disc with nothing but videos and Rayman Legends. So people need to be able to understand the system by playing it but you don't have the system on displ...
If your games don't sell on Nintendo platforms why not team up with Nintendo develop a game for them and have them publish it. The reason people buy there software is because of the name association. Love it or hate it when it comes to 2d platformers Nintendo continually sets the bar. When it comes to 3d games they set the bar any game they have been creating for years they set the bar. I'm not a delusional rabid fan foaming at the mouth for whoever says they like one company over ano...
Ouya is a product that should have been advertised as an android attachment.
But didn't theysay it w used games?on't play
That's not bad for WII U owners at least no unsuspecting consumers will get the shaft.
Can't wait to get it on the WII U
MH3 is doing great went to pick it up at target and sold out.
There was a line of people waiting.
These articles kill me. They just sold more consoles in europe with a big game release. They have at least 2 games planned on or around E3. It's safe to say they'll be alright. Oh yeah pokemon rumble will sell nicely in japan so sales should pick up there as well.
