IMO I think if a site is going to review games they need to make developer, publishers and consumers aware of there point system. A good example would be.

I find it weird that developers don't think ahead. This is the reason I like what Nintendo is doing with Splatoon. 4 on 4 combat with a single player campaign that if we know Nintendo will be good. When it comes to Multiplayer maybe this is their genie in a bottle.

It's because these games are not truly built to sell over time. It's a front loaded game and it didn't sell 40 million out the gate across all platforms this is what happens when shallow games with no replay value are made.
Did Nintendo ever say they weren't localizing it as we speak.Also the game has to release at some point so expect soon after the Japan release they need to build momentum.

If there were 5 million people that had lets play videos up and 2.5 dropped off due to being angry then the other 2.5 stand to profit from those leaving.
