I think this game is smart. I don't know it it will but imagine friends having the app and instead of just sending text messages you can have your character interacting each other. So say your in a relationship and you wanted to send your love one a sweet message your character can pop up and deliver flowers and candy.
There are a lot of things I can think of which can enhance direct messages this has the potential to be a nice social app.
