Wait are you complaining because a system with lower specs has games made by a company that the bar is always set high. Has taken the time to produce quality titles after titles. Keep in mind this is their first HD system and the pressure is higher due to having to provide all the retail games.

It makes sense I think the next Mario will be a combination of Galaxy, 3D world and Sunshine. I can see it now if they can somehow pull it off. incorporate the look of a Disney movie and I'm sold.
The easy resolution is to stop pre ordering and buying these games on day one. The companies that are releasing these games which are glitchy and bug ridden know these problems exist. Why not hold off on releasing the game instead of having a day 1 patch. That right there tells me that you know the problems exist but you choose to release the product.
So here's a question if someone said Hey buy my game that has a lot of bugs are you buying it?

I wouldn't put snake is as a way of returning the favor for all the great Metal Gear Solid games Nintendo has gotten recently.
I don't think as a company it's ideal to make figures to which there are not multiple games to play them with. I'm sure when splatoon comes out there may be a Mario flud character that helps in certain ways. or When Mario and link slow down those figures will probably be re introduced to pick sales back up.

For the Wii U it is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.
The WIi U the only next Gen system imo that has software that you can revisit due to the game play being nearly flawless and the art style being something you can revisit 5 - 10 years later.
