Opinions opinions all I know is that people are compering a game that has had 30 years of history and time to perfect it's lore and gameplay to a new Ip let that sink in. If you don't think that's impressive then hey what can I tell you, some people even had doubts about GG being able to make an open world RPG. I can understand why some gamers think BoTW is the best game ever created IMO it's not far from it. BoTW is a good game it's just NOT the greatest game ever created...
Nah I hope they don't drop the price good developers deserve to get paid and rewarded for delivering good games. If your not sure if you will like it then move on it's not like there is a shortage of games.
People need to stop the hyperbole over Zelda is a good game but it's not even close to being revolutionary. The way people keep talking about it you would think it's the next GTA which created a whole new genre, I'm sorry but that's just not the case not even close to it anyway enjoy Zelda.
People like to bitch and moan about everything, they like games that hold their hand just buy the unlimited travel pack it's not that hard to get enough shards to buy it. I only use it for story missions because I like exploring and gathering resources.

Not everyone wants the limitations that portables offer, to some the Switch is away for them to game more but if I'm in the market for a HOME console the Switch is lacking in both power and features. Those are the facts plain and simple, not everyone sugar coats everything Nintendo does like you do.
My early impression of Horizon is that it took the best parts from Far Cry, Tomb Raider, and the Witcher 3 and mix them up to create and absolutely amazing game. IMO the combat is better than the witcher, the story is better than Far Cry, and the crafting is as good as Tomb Raider. It doesn't feel like I'm playing those games but I can definitely see what they took from each game.
What are you talking about some features have become the industry norm and now even expect them to be there, like online functionality, decent memory drive, a good controller included with the system not as an option that you have to buy that's even more expensive than what their competitors offer. WTF? So that excuses Nintendo somehow? As a consumer you expect that when you buy a product it will work. Failure rate is to be expected but what Nintendo is basically saying is that if you get a defective display your out of luck and they won't honor a replacement.

Horizon is a new Ip Zelda is a been there done that to DEATH!! Some people give Zelda a pass because they love the franchise but does that diminish what GG has done with Horizon? How many new ip's has Nintendo introduced lately, yes Zelda is good but let's not act like Nintendo reinvented the wheel.
WOW!! When was the last time you saw Nintendo hardware fail they definitely rushed the Switch. I still have some of their old systems that work.
Nintendo has screwed over Sony, Sega and third party developers who are you kidding they ain't no saints. As far as being classy Sony has been pretty good about not rubbing in MS face that they clearly destroyed them this gen.
Nintendo can't or won't compete with Sony or MS, the Switch is woefully under power and it will be curious to see what big third party devs support the Switch. I will believe it when I see it no CD project Red no Rockstar or any big time developer has committed to it, so until I see developers dropping current gen games on the Switch it's not a threat. Nintendo has a long road ahead if they want to topple Sony which I don't see them doing.
LOL. Third party devs don't care about fanboy nonsense they will cater to the biggest install base and that is on the PS4. Do yo really think they will needlessly pour more resources just to make a game look better for a smaller install base I don't think so that's why many games ran better on the 360 instead of the PS3. The only games that will look and run better are going to be MS games all other games will have parity or close to it.
Oh right we are not allowed to criticize Zelda or Nintendo. I have no doubt that it's a good game but people give it a pass, and over look it's shortcomings and are way more lenient with Zelda than other games Ocarina is sitting on a 99 metacritic with a measly 22 reviews meanwhile Uncharted 2 is at a 96 with over 100 reviews which is more impressive?

Maybe because you have bad taste in games Zelda get's a pass for their out date art style and I could even make an argument that Nino Kuni 2 looks way better than Zelda artistically but Zelda is an Iconic franchise so people overlook Nintendo's short comings mean while Horizon a new Ip get's troll articles that lowers it's score and it's ok because it's a Sony exclusive right?
Right just like all the positive reviews that failed to point out everything he did. Wether you agree or not his points and criticisms have validity to what degree the game should be penalized is up to the gamer playing the game. I don't know if it's a 7/10 but it's most certainly NOT a perfect 10/10.
