MS and Nintendo can do whatever they want Sony is under no obligation to allow something that is not beneficial to them. How many times do you need to hear this PS players don't care about cross play with MS that is the main reason why Sony can say no to MS. As far as developers wanting this then they should just go ahead and allow cross play with MS and Nintendo what's the big deal why do they need Sony's approval for that.
MS at it again with their PR BS they can't help themselves, IMO they need to shut up and put their money were their mouth is and invest in some new studios to make some exclusive games but what do I know.

Since when has 1080P 60FPS been bad? I will take it over 4K 30FPS some of you trolling hard and they have yet to release the Xbox X version specs yet you have the usual suspects talking smack. LOL
MS loves this PR BS look almost all new consoles sell well in their launch the Switch was on fire only for it to drop off. If in a year the X is outselling the PS4 then MS can start boasting but as of right now they should shut their mouth and let the console speak for itself.
OH MS and their BS PR they have zero new compelling new ip's zero. This reminds me of the "Greatest gaming line up in history" they proclaimed a year ago.

MS has been trying for the better part of two decades to take over the video game industry and has failed. Even tho MS has a lot of resources they do not use them on the xbox brand in fact some within MS have wanted to drop xbox brand because it's not as profitable so again your blind sided way of thinking is wrong.
LOL. The switch was selling at a scary rate then it fell off and Nintendo has exclusive games coming MS has none. Not interested in this first wave of sales I want to see how well it sells a year from it's release date.

As I recall that was at the beginning of the generation, there is no way to justify the lack of AAA content coming from MS they are lacking and you could point at Sony all you want but their future offerings are very impressive compared to what MS has planned.
The hype has gone down because there is no real exclusive that will take full advantage of the extra juice and people are sensing that. The only people still hyped for the X are xbox fanboys, the xbox x has the same problem the Pro does which is that you need a 4K TV and a lot of people still don't have one.

The thing is that MS has never won a single generation and has yet to take any of Sony's dominance in other regions so unless Sony makes mistakes or over prices their hardware they aren't losing. I'm not a fanboy just stating facts Nintendo and the Wii where an anomaly because it's know that the reason it sold so many units is because of casual people picking it up and not actual gamers. IMO the Switch will not outsell the PS4 as for the future ...
What nonsense name AAA games that have been totally innovative in recent years? Come on man Sony is at least trying which more that can be said for MS and Nintendo. If you want to nit pick fine but Sony is the only one that seems to want to introduce new Ip's.

Excuses excuses and more excuses MS could have been in pretty good shape right now if they would have invested in developing studios when they were dominant instead of choosing to throw money at exclusivity deals. You reap what you sow MS did nothing to help themselves and now they are paying for it.
One big reason why I won't buy it has zero exclusives announced that will take full advantage of the system.
It's kind of hard to get exited for new hardware when there are no compelling new games coming from MS. These MS fanboys can tout the power of of the x all they want but I suspect there won't be this massive difference sure better resolution and maybe even better performance but with MS line up looking pretty anemic it's a hard sell for non X box blind fanboys.
