Wait aren't all games repetitive to a degree? That seems to be his biggest gripe with Nioh, it's his opinion whatever but you can pretty much say that about any game you don't like.
Wouldn't they have been better served making a bad ass portable instead of this half baked console and half baked portable. I want Nintendo to be competitive but they always disappoint, If I could play every third party on the go I would be on board but that's not what the switch is.
Some people don't have the patience or time to learn the mechanics of a game and that's ok not every game is for everyone, but a good challenge should be welcomed if your a true gamer. I enjoyed Bloodborne and I'm looking forward to Nioh but I understand that not all people will find the learning curb appealing.
Ben it's called common sense but believe it or not some people lack it.
@moldybread
You never cease to amaze with your nonsense.
The only people that want a Switch are gamers no one else cares the Wii was selling to non gamers that's why it sold so much.
Niko good luck to you and your way of thinking the rest of us are going to be playing Nioh.
@ SoulMickeY
Your entitled to your opinion but yours is not an opinion that the majority agree with, Nioh is a beast onto itself it has similar game loop as Souls games but it isn't a clone and if you played it you would know that.
@ XXanderXX
Who's defending him almost every comment is mocking him for either stating the obvious or being completely wrong. As a game analyst he sucks at accurately predicting gaming trends and during the 360 era put MS on a pedestal, that's why so many Sony gamers dislike him.
What exactly are you going to play on the Scorpio? If they don't announce anything at E3 I think MS is the one that should worried.
Wait what? Boring?
Funny then what the hell have I been doing then oh right playing games the PS4 has tons of them. I guess it's boring if you have no games to play.
@ darthv72
Do you think EA cares? Nope money talks and the PS4 has the biggest install base that's money on the table they are leaving. I don't care for this service but maybe some people out there do, so if they want to waste their money on bland games from EA then so be it.
OK What should Sony be worried about exactly? You still need software and right now it ain't looking to good for MS and Nintendo, meanwhile Sony is releasing game after game furthering it's grip on the market and continuing to grow a very impressive library of exclusives. In February you get two new IP's from Sony Horizon and Nioh and what is MS and Nintendo doing to counter that nothing.
Reading some of the comments from people is hilarious seeing them write that they won't buy their games anymore for voicing their opinion is truly un American. Their politics are their own who cares, do they make good games? Then that's all I need to know at least they stand for what they believe in even if I agree or don't.
Damn some people are lazy a simple google reach can tell you why team ninja choose to have a white protagonist but screw the facts right? Insert my opinion is more important than that. LOL
Why am I not surprised this is a gaming bolt article, the question should be is MS going to offer more games, or are third parties developers going to support the Switch. Those two consoles have way more questions than answers the PS4 seems like it's going to be fine as long as they keep supporting it with games.
He's entitled to say what he damn well pleases but so does the internet and when your statement sounds like a fanboy jab expect some people to have an opinion on what you said.
WTF? I don't get this article or people that wanted an even more powerful console? Why would Sony add more to a mid gen upgraded console when it's tied down to the OG PS4. The purpose of the Pro is to make games run better not to leave the PS4 behind. That is what they have been saying all along, so why would it need to be that much more powerful? If developers aren't going to be pushing the hardware to it's limits what's the point, and the same applies to the Scorpio. Unl...
No people are criticizing him for his lazy review, he can say it's repetitive all he wants but did he try to approach enemies in different ways or just do the same thing over and over. That's what he needs to explain in his review so I don't care if he gave it a low score, but some reviewers are lazy and want the attention of giving games a bad score to drive traffic to their sites.
