Is nice if you live in an apt complex and don't want to pay for internet, and amazingly enough with a 35% signal strength I can still download somewhere around a megabyte per second off of the psn. Suprised the hell out of me.
I thought it was the removal of the emotion chip in favor of the software emulation for backwards compatibility.
I don't think the Xbox will always have the best visuals unless they start using more than one dvd or decide to utilize the HD-DVD drive for something besides movies.

Too bad EA is too lazy to make their games run as good on the PS3. Oh well looks like I'm going to have to invest in a 360... luckily I can get one for hella cheap thanks to deals like these. I guess there's nothing wrong with having all three systems, seeing as they all have games coming out on them that I want to play.
Somebody is going to add a comment about how weak the ps3 is and how superior the 360 is, list a bunch of facts and think they accomplished something by wasting everyone's time.
And yeah I'm suprised PS3 is still selling so good, hopefully that will continue after they get rid of the 60GB SKU. But honestly I don't think people are going to want to pay 600 dollars for something they could have gotten for 500 a little earlier. 20gb just isn't worthwhile.
If you're just buying a system to play games then it would be pointless to buy the HD-DVD drive.
I played the hell out of it at Quakecon this year and last. Now I just need to get myself an Über-computer to run it.
It's not like we've been able to at least watch youtube on both of the other systems or anything.

If you had one disc to install on the hdd and another disc to use while you play would that be so horrible? And on ff7 there was a whole lotta stuff you could do on disc three instead of fighting the bosses. Anyone ever breed a golden chocobo? I didn't but my gameshark sure as hell did :D

Whats wrong with having a game be on more than one DVD? I don't own a Xbox or anything but I don't think it would be that big of a deal to play a game with more than one disc..(Final Fantasy VIII anyone?)
