That would be suweet. I always thought it would be better for a company to make a blockbuster title in secret so it doesn't seem like we're having to wait forever. Say they announce the release date for this game two months before it comes out. That would be awesome. How many PS3's would get sold in that two months? MILLIONS. Plus, we wouldn't have to read anymore speculation articles about a FF7 remake. I mean damn, how many is this now?
Don't forget, glorified violence on tv is okay as long as there's no nudity involved. God forbid children see someone's nipple for half a second. Video games are a different story for some reason. They're not as easily accessable to children compared to violent TV shows, yet people criticize them the most.
Can't believe I never noticed the Leon/Claire thing. That's uncanny.
You ever play a MGS game on the hardest difficulty? It's not so easy to kill and get away from people you've alerted. I played SC for about 30 mins and took it back. It was definatly difficult, but I just didn't like the way it played. And the voice actors? I think who ever does Snake's sounds more badass. That's just me though. So, my vote goes to Snake. I think we should have another one for the gayest, I'm sure Raiden would win that sh!t hands down.
Different leagues? Surely you mean different genres. Just because this article says "rental of the year" doesn't mean it's true. And just out of curiosity, have you played HS? If you have then I could understand you saying Bioshock is in a different league. If not then how could you possibly know? Myself I've played them both and enjoyed them both equally. The only thing you can really compare between these games is length/graphics/and story. Honestly I like the story in Bioshock a ...
I wish HS was this violent, I bet it would sell waaaay more copies. For some reason people like playing ridiculously violent video games. There's just something so satisfying about [cutting/ripping/smashing/shoo ting] someone to pieces in a gloriously violent fashon. As long as that isn't all you're doing (State of Emergency) it makes the game more realistic in my opinion... sometimes. If only they had a sureproof way to keep these kinds of games away from kids we would be blessed with more o...
This game is going to be the best RPG for the Nextgen systems. Honestly I think FF13 will come close but Fallout has and always will be my favorite RPG. Hopefully it will be as replayable as the first two. If not then they need to delay it for another year or two.
I know which one I'm buying now! Faster load times with video output!? Can't wait to remote play all my music vids onto a regular TV while I'm at work.
Why shouldn't someone compare the length of two major titles on opposing systems? They're both great games that aren't long enough but still fun to go back and play again.
@Xi: How many discs would it have if it was on the 360!? WAAAAAY too many.
Because being able to improve on perfection is a wonderful concept :)
Yeah it looks as someone his disagree on almost everyone's post. Kinda makes the function look worthless you know?
Yeah I always like the campaign better than the multiplayer on Halo. Don't know why but I couldn't ever get into playing Halo 2 online. Too bad it's only ten hours. But then again on legendary it might take a lot longer than that if you're playing by yourself.
Halo 3 is 1080p? Nice.
I don't understand how anyone could hate this game at all. Chrono Trigger was probably the best game for the SNES followed by Mario RPG. But in my opinion FF7 blows Chrono Trigger away in the story department. I don't really care about graphics, FF7 had good cutscenes and all but the in game graphics are funny as hell if you look at them today. I mean, most everyone in the game has Popeye arms. Giant squarish popeye arms.
I've done this with two broken Xbox 360's so far; and no neither of them had the RROD. They had other problems that I'm not going to elaborate on. But anyhow I don't see how anyone can feel bad about jipping Wal-Mart for something like this. I mean come on, it's freaking Wal-Mart. They're one of the most evil corperations on the planet. (Right next to Halliburton and McDonalds LOL)
You forgot American Psycho. His portrayal of Patrick Bateman is so close to the book it's almost creepy.
7 Hours isn't that bad as long as there's still something fun to do after you beat the game. I mean look at stranglehold. Once you beat that game there's nothing to do but beat it on a harder difficulty, with the same repeatitive gameplay. Heavenly Sword at least offers more than just running around and killing endless amounts of bad guys you know. Who knows, maybe there's a lot of extra stuff after you beat it?
I also agree, Home is going to be something new that Xbox live won't really be able to compete with very good. Hopefully they'll get a lot more content out through home. I want a 3-D PS-Store, that would be sexy.
If a lot of these songs aren't in the game when it's released I'm going to be PYST!
