The link is wrong btw. Its linking to the new official Femshep.
This is the correct link.

Newb/noob is such a harsh word to call someone. I just call them idiots instead. If they're new to a particular genre, then they might not know what noob/newb is, and calling them an idiot works out better since they'll understand it pretty well >:)
"but if the development team at BioWare holds to their word, then there’s no doubt that Mass Effect 3‘s female Shepard will be a ginger."
Also, the picture at the top of the article had freckles. So sadly, she is a ginger and not just a redhead.
So, you compare a linear game to a sandbox game... Sandbox games in general tend to give you a lot more choices on how to tackle missions or such. Try comparing UC to other linear games and show how they give you more freedom of choice on how to tackle a mission, I'd love to see it.
"also COD didn't invent Killcams... I'm pretty positive of that, they just made it more known."
Was curious about that and found that list of games on Giantbomb. If the list is correct, then the first game to have a killcam was a Battlefield game :P. So then COD would be the one doing the copying.

So female Shepard has no soul...
He brings up UC3 because he wants to downplay it over Gears (see below). And as you said, compare a 1st person shooter to a 1st person shooter. Hell, the article does mention UC3 but says...
"Look at action-adventure climbing sections such as in Tomb Raider or Uncharted. There's usually a fixed path, but you're free to let go or jump in the wrong direction. Maybe you'll find a secret. More likely you'll die a hideous splattery death, but at least your f...
Some are more like demos, others are actual betas. With UC3, they've had a bunch of improvements, adjustments, and bug fixes that occurred over the course of it. RE3 has had some improvements and bug fixes as well. Sure it had some major problems after a bit, but I'd rather them fix it in beta that have that problem at retail. Can't say anything about the GeOW 3 beta, as I didn't play it except for a bit at a friends.
Overall, even if its a month before rel...
He may not have a Kinect (no clue if he does or doesn't), but it doesn't mean the demos they first did for it was scripted.

Edit: With the number of great games coming out this time of year, a few delays will help our wallets out.
Poor sales is the reason not to release on XBLA? You do know MS is not the one developing the game? Seeing as the whole last paragraph is about the developer making the max returns on their. If the developer wants to release the game late for one system and take a hit, its their choice. MS shouldn't be the one deciding that for them. Any money they make from their cut is still going to be greater than the $0 they'd get for not putting it on the XBLA.
As for the r...
@ MOTY If you want to bring up sales, why not look at COD. It kills in sales every year, yet that doesn't mean its the best looking series in the market ever.
Sales =/= graphics.
You were stuck in the starting zone for 20 hours? Just cause you couldn't beat the beginning of the game and got raped by skags, doesn't mean it was a horrible game.
"but i think hybrid type can connect with core"
But isn't the whole marketing of Kinect is that "you are the controller" and that you don't need a controller to play great games? A hybrid version game makes it just a PSEye clone that's three times the cost.
The voice commands of ME 3 are nice, but its been done before with mics in Endwar (for the 360/PS3). The Weaponsmith is pretty sweet in Ghost Recon (though curious how ...
It was seen in a negative light because while Enslaved had a great story, the combat and platforming were blah. You could button mash fight the whole game and for platforming, you could never screw up really. Also, another reason it didn't sell well was because it came out when there were a lot of other games at the time. Heavenly sword's combat was great, but the story was a bit on the short side which was the major complaint of many.
And as for the article, hopef...
"but of course it was more bug ridden than the usual Bethesda game which ultimately made it unplayable for some"
Yah, for the longest time till the released the last patch, I couldn't go near Mr. New Vegas' casino without my system freezing up. I could run around and do anything else, but going near his place locked the system up and I had to reset the system.
After they fixed it, I could finally continue on with the story for a change, as ...
The original was great. Loved playing that with friends. As for the co-op experience, the only problem I had at times was when people weren't on the same part of a quest or on the same part of the story.
Looks nice. At first, I wasn't sure about the game. But the more I see, the more I'm liking it.
Interesting, though couldn't understand a thing from that trailer :P
May not be a direct sequel, but if you watch the trailer the sound and animations for some things (as well as some character models) are the same (spell casting / backstabs for example). From Software probably couldn't do a direct sequel since SCE Japan Studio did help develop Demon's Souls with them originally.
So while it isn't a direct sequel, its a bit more than the spiritual successor.
p.s. There are sequels to games that are in different ...
It should be, "Online play has decreased the demand for Single Player only games." Playing with friends online adds a lot of replay value to a game that if it was single player only, you could blow through in 10 hours or so.
