Yep, it'll most likely be one hell of a game, I have my copy preordered already.
But as for exclusive reviews and such, if they bad mouth the game / devs, they'll never see a review copy again from them in the future. So even if the game is bad, they'll probably try to put a positive spin on it.
But for Batman:AC, so many villains to fight in the game and so much to explore, can't wait.
You do realize there are animes with games that don't feature female characters with DD's? Though many games from Japan never see the light of day here as the animes are never shown over here (no fan base to buy the game here).
Also, the people that tend to be sexist, racist, etc are the ones that see that in the world around them and point it out for others to see / complain about. Those of us that aren't, don't give 2 sh!ts about it / don't even notice...
@omi25p So you have to read that books to get any character development that they didn't have in the games? And according to the article, "First things first. It's an editorial about video game stories." So you basically proved that by going from the video games, Uncharted has the better character development.

I was saying if and when I get the game later on, if I want the DLC, I could have gotten it for free before if I had preordered. But seeing as I got Resistance 3 that day and had trouble with New Vegas before, I felt like waiting on the game.
Unless you plan on buying the game used (which gives 0 to the devs), then you'd still be paying the $60 for the game. So preordering and getting the DLC for free and waiting ...
Seeing as everyone is complaining about the DLC, anyone notice that it came for "FREE" if you preordered the game? I haven't gotten the game yet since I've been busy and I wanted them to iron out the bugs (after buying New Vegas and not being able to beat it till it was patched made me a little leery of another huge sandbox multiplat), but at least I know its my fault that I could have gotten the DLC for free by preordering the game originally.

As for R3's patches, most of it is basically a result of the MP beta that was running for a bit right before the game released. There's a difference between a game having a beta released before the game drops to iron out the online play bugs, versus ...
@smashman98 Depends on what type of publishing deal they have. Also, From Software isn't owned by Namco, so if they didn't like the deal, they could have gone else where for a publisher. They did have Atlus publish the first game.
Yah, its funny that people want to thank Namco, even after they've milked other stuff to death. Its really *From Software* who are the ones not cutting stuff from the game and extorting people who want to play a complete game. If Namco had any say in it, they'd probably be leaning towards lots of DLC.

True that every game does not need some form of MP, but it doesn't take away from the SP experience if you never touch it. MP only adds more value to a game if you want it to.
As for myself, I'm looking forward to the single player part of teh game, the MP is just an extra bonus.

How can you convict him when he purchased the site 2 years ago, when there was no trademark. Activision should have tried to buy the site from him. There are far worse sites on the web than one that was used as part of a children's fight, basically. And there is a thing such as freedom of speech, else a certain southern baptist church would have been tried and executed by now.
Split screen on the same PS3.... Don't think you can load two copies of the game into one system....

You can say Dead Island is fun and all (and I'll be picking it up later), but you really can't say its innovative. Its borrowed the enemy types of L4D, the weapon crafting of Dead Rising, and the quest / mission structures of Borderlands/Fallout/etc.
As for classes, Borderlands has 3 out of the 4 (no melee specialization in Borderlands, unless you count pummeling someone with both fists) the tank healer/support, and 2 ranged dps classes, each with 3 trees to specia...
The ones mainly complaining about online passes are those that were never going to buy a game new in the first place, so why should the developers care about them?
As for friends borrowing games, I let friends borrow my games, and my account info for them to get the passes or such are on their systems. You can download stuff from the PSN on up to 5 systems.
As kma2k said, PS3s can use any 2.5 sata hd. So why would any original 40 gb owner still have the 40 gb hd and not have upgraded another 200 or more gb for less than the cost of a game?
