Gotta love the old Eyetoy vids.
Love the old Sega Superstars Virtual Fighter

I loved the first ultimate ninja storm when you could actually change which jutsu most characters could use. Seeing how in the anime, characters have multiple jutsus that they use, it made sense. Being limited to one out of a number of ones that the characters actually use is a bit annoying.
Heh, go for the best of both worlds and get both. Got Twisted Metal and waiting for Amazon to ship it to my place come Tuesday. They're both fun in their own way.
Love Folklore. Such an under appreciated game. And for coming out so early in the PS3s cycle, a very nice use of the motion sensors in the controller.
I can see Talon, but Axel isn't too bad. Somewhat got use to him from the first week or so of people with the preorder code using him since nothing else was unlocked. As for ranked, it is annoying as hell when you lose team members as they just leave or crash, though the game will end early if you lose too many people. However it can screw up the stats section a bit.
It would, which is why people care. Devs are only given so much disk space to work with and I don't think MS would like it if a dev felt like putting a game out of 4 disks.
Same, the videos for the game that I've seen are beautiful, can't wait for it to release in the US finally.
Nice to see Namco actually being nice to its fans.
Yep, Killswitch started it, Gears just made it more popular.
Seeing how he was charging in with a sword, not sure if he's gonna be long range. He seems with the pistol like he'd be medium to short range, since the soldier seems to be similar to what it was, the siren doesn't really seem melee since he can restrain enemies and heal / revive allies, and the gunzerker isn't the in your face melee bashing brute like the berserker was. Zero seems like he'd end up filling that occasional melee / up close damage spot that we're missi...
Eh, Amazon preorders tend to be good at times. Nothing like $10 towards your next purchase. That and combine it with complaining about them not mailing me the Twisted Metal preorder on time and getting another $5, extra cash is always nice.
I think they have fixed things pretty much. I know at the start it was taking me like several minutes to actually get into a game, and part of the time you'd have an afk host not even starting it. Now I'm getting into pretty much every game, with a tenth of the network errors I use to get. Still getting the game freeing issue once in a while though.
Gotta love a first impression video where they spend like 5 minutes straight saying fuck.
Might be a bit from bugs, but probably from them milking the franchise to death. As well as the DLC that should have been in the retail copy in the first place.
Yah, that's my same one and only complaint. Use to play it all the time on the PS2 with a friend of mine. Sad that we'll have to switch off instead of racing down the mountains while seeing who can pull off the bigger stunts and come in first.
As for the video, the ending was very nice. The beginning was a little eh as they missed a bunch of chances to pull off some stunts and get some boost.
If you played the end of the game, the last area had a ton of these guys. They'd basically take a lot more to kill and they'd teleport around as well. The annoying ones would teleport near you with a rocket launcher just outside of your line of sight and rape you... So, not really like zombies, as zombies don't teleport and rape you from behind with rockets... Its just a harder survival mode.
@armycore
"Nominees for the awards were voted on by professionals within the industry". VGA's the fans are voting, and you have a ton of advertising online ahead of it to vote. Though the only reason I'd watch it is for the reveals of new games / trailers.
And hell, I heard about the DICE summit a bit before it occurred, but never once heard anything about the awards. Still industry pros giving themselves awards is probably not gonna appeal to eve...
When other sites are asked to pull the articles and they do. Then you refuse to and keep it up, its safe to say the other party would be pretty pissed. They had to have said something in the first place for their ever to be a "misunderstanding" at all.
Whether they did blacklist or not at the time doesn't matter so much now as they're trying to play the PR game since their attempts to hide certain things failed and people are lashing out at them for being ...
I think the forums thing was devs saying it might come from a patch or DLC in the future.
They were basically saying it was hard for them to render the mountain twice for split screen, even though other games can do split screen or 4 player on huge maps or tracks. I remember a BS part where they were saying that racing games these days don't have split screen. \/
"Batty then referred to racing games as an example of why SSX doesn't need split-s...
No... Festival of Blood had a story / a bunch of missions to go along with it, various collectibles, and new enemies. This is just a few perks and an ability. If they had any missions in it, it'd be cool.
