When games get hyped to the extreme, many reviewers skip over the faults and just go with the flow. That or they do the opposite for hits and do a low score.
Cole was never gonna be paid DLC. From what the ps blog says, Pac-Ma and Mega Man were (are still?) PS3 exclusive characters ( http://blog.us.playstation.... ). If they're exclusive, they're not paid DLC. Unless down the line they want to do like SC 4 with vader and yoda, and release them on the 360 for cash.

There have been games in the past that release a patch to allow compatibility with DLC or preorder character bonuses. I remember Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 had the Juggernaut DLC compatibility patch.

Tricks aren't too hard to do, but try playing in Global Events and getting top score. Not that easy, especially in some of the narrow drops. 26 mil in 1 event and I only got gold for it. Luckily like 2 days left in it so I can try to place higher. Also, try placing high in some of the survival events with gear restrictions (ie, no thermal in the cold races) and no rewind.
Be glad its not day one DLC. I'll probably get it down the line after I finish all the side quests I still have left to do.

Uncharted handled the multiplayer trophies that way. Play a co-op game, play a multiplayer game. Other stuff awarded ingame mini trophies / treasures . medals.
Other games have had multiplayer trophies handled like DLC, where they are there but don't count towards the plat.
If you read it, it has new armor, shields, weapons in it, as well as new quests, mobs, dungeons. Only thing its missing which I would love is a level cap increase as its easy as hell to hit cap from doing all the side quests before you get close to the final area.
Yah, I love amazon's credits. Free shipping and no taxes somehow for me, plus a nice $10 credit. Saves me $15 from picking it up new not too far down the line. Hell, I had them mess up a preorder a bit ago and the bonus came a day late, so they gave me another $5 credit. You can sell it back later on and get more money back, but you're still getting a new copy day 1 for the price of a used copy a lot later on.

And a lot of gamers this gen fail to notice how some great games last gen were rated 7/10s and not 9getting 9's or 10's across the boards. Many people these days tend to think a game is only good if it gets 9/10 or above, and fail to get the chance to enjoy some great games.
The first had 25 playable characters, the 2nd had 44. This one has 72 characters. The story / fights might bea bit different from how they are in the anime / manga at times, but I love how close to an anime the game looks.
Yah, loving it too. In single player, Deadly Decents aren't that amazing. But when you go online and do them, trying to get the furthest with gear restrictions is brutal.
