Seems like that 349 price is just there to make sure all remaining 20gb's get sold.
Gripshift is the only game i've played from them and i love it.
If the problem is good game/bad movie whynot reuse the game idea and engine for a new game with new graphics/theme? If it's a good game on it's own merit, it's a good way to 'reissue' the same idea without the 'bad movie' stigma.
The thing about this whole 'ps3 is burning cash' thing, is kind of misplaced. The ps3 is infact burning cash, however the ps3 did 2 things for Sony, it was a huge force in winning a format war. It also was a new game machine following the loss first, profit later trend.
A large chunk of money lost would still have been lost without the ps3, just in other areas while pushing Blu-ray. If they didnt put Blu-ray in the ps3, the losses would much less. So yes, they've lost more mone...
I hear the phrase 'psn is not quite to the level of Live' very often. What exactly does Live offer that Psn does not? I know of some minor differences, but them being different does not make one inherently inferior to the other. I cant think of anything that one has over the other, in my eye's they are pretty equal.
The only example of a large difference is that Live requires a demo for everything, while Psn is a more open system and leaves that decision up to the developer/pu...
Interesting outlook on things. Suppose your boss decided to pay you when he thinks your work deserves payment. If you like a game, a movie, or music enough to play, watch, or listen to it, then its obviously good enough to pay for.
Go into a grocery store and start eating things off the shelves, and when the manager calls the cops, tell the cops that 'I only pay for food that deserves to be paid for'.
It's theft plain and simple. Just because you cant see the pe...
This just made my BS detector burn out from overload.
For some reason i'm facinated by vending machines that sell things other than food.
It was suprising to me how much i love this game. I played the demo back when it came out and while it looked great, the demo made it out to be just an action game. After all these months, I kept hearing about how great it was and how it had a great story and also that there was puzzles and a larger focus on platforming than the demo led me to believe.
So i decided to pick it up when the trophies came out. For the first time ever, i played an action game straight through...4 t...
Agreed. It does seem more likley that at this point, it would simply be Dead Rising 2 for the 360 & ps3. Works for me
Well, i dont know about specific numbers. But I'm sure alot of people pick up the fit because they think it will be a fun exercise device. Now go and look at how many exercise devices are sold every year in the US alone that people use a few times then stop using them. Could be the same effect.
There is no platinum trophy, thats only for large scale (blu-ray) games.
This IS a spoiler because this is the reward for completing the game.
high resolution does not guarantee high picture quality.
Where do you think those used games come from? They come from people who buy the games new. If people couldnt sell a game they bought that would also impact sales. Alot of people buy games more often because they know they can sell them off when they are done in order to help pay or another new game.
Keeping them from selling their games may also keep them from buying new games as often as they do now.
I love the disagree fairy.
As i said, both demos are on the psn today
http://blog.us.playstation....
'smashes its way' onto the psn today aswell.
@mikeslemonade, It's coming out on the PSN in today's update too.
I'm sure those Vtech game systems sell alot too...
Someone on Gaf said their shipment of 60gb had no street date on them meaning whenever these stores get them they can start selling them. So its not really anyone selling 'early'
Even though it would be cool to play with, i sorta agree. Cellphone camera quality is getting really good, pretty soon they will likley be just as useful as a standalone digital camera for everyday use. The convienence factor of them is also very good. All of which makes a psp camera kinda uneeded for the masses.
After some thinking, i'm wondering. Does anyone think that a 199 arcade 360 would eat into ps2 sales more than ps3 sales?
