I have absolutely no interest in what Gamespot has to say about anything after that BS R&C review. Can you imagine complaining in a review that a game has too much variety? That would be the same as saying "Damn, the game is way too long. Took use 30 hours to beat it & we've got better things to do"

Sounds like this game could be a winner on both platforms but I'll wait for the reviews before I decide weather or not to pick up this title.

The price drop for the 80gb is effective immediately, not Nov 2nd. Nov 2nd is when the 40gb launches.
Also, in Canada Futurshop is selling the 60gb fo $479.99. 20 bucks less than the 80.

Bubble for you. My brother wants a PS3 but I told him to hold off until the price cut. I'm thinking about telling him to get the 80 instead of the 40. IMO it's the better value right now.
Question: Does the 80gb have PS2 backwards compatibility through software emulation or the EE chip in the States? I can't remember.
I'd like to know that too since the 60 & 80 are effectively the same price right now. Amazon.com still has 60's in stock and hasn't changed their prices yet on the 80gb. It could be an interesting day on Amazon.
I'm not interested in Lost Planet. I would definitely be interested in Dead Rising though, and I think many others agree. Someone should tell this to Capcom.

Man I was all hyped up for this one but five hours is sad. Multiplayer ain't really my bag so I'll give this one a rental.
