Y'know, M$ pisses me off just as much as the next guy but I read the entire article and I couldn't find the quote from M$ that said "we are hoping Halo 3 is goodbye to Sony". I'm sure M$ is thinking it but it's CNN who is saying it.

I would guess the 40gb has been stripped of backwards compatibility & built in WiFi. Only time will tell.
The biggest problem with rumors like this is people will stop buying PS3's until the price actually drops. Sony needs to plug up these leaks.
I think the majority of us need violent games like GTA or Manhunt so we can vent frustrations after a miserable day at work instead of killing our bosses in a fit of rage. Do you guys think I'm kidding? ;)
So sensationalized TV newscasts featuring death & destruction on a daily basis, 24 hour porn channels & Jerry Springer are considered "morally superior" in comparison to games like Super Mario, Nintendogs etc?
Michael Grade should have said "some television is morally superior to some video games and visa versa." Dude needs a reality check.

When people buy Wii they are thinking about Nintendo games like Mario, Metroid, Zelda etc. Not a slapped together quick to make a buck game like Boogie. EA was hoping to cash in quick on the Wii's popularity and it backfired.

My wife will play racing games on occasion but thats it. She can't stand any other games.
The absolute worst thing would be to get your shiny new copy of Halo 3 home and then get the dreaded RRoD because the ol' 360 can't handle these newer games that are maxing out the system. OMG can you imagine the carnage that would ensue inside that kids bedroom? MELTDOWN!!
Pehaps Factor 5 could go back to the drawing board with the controls? I'd rather control with the sticks myself.
Anyways, with the crappy reviews its been getting its a must NOT buy for me.

My brother just bought an HDTV and now is begging his wife for a PS3. Of course she's telling me to shut up about it since they just spent a small fortune on the new TV HAHAHA!!
Anyways, It's only a matter of time before she caves. I told them to hold off a bit since it looks like the $399 model will be released very soon.
