MGS4 is going to be nothing short of spectacular. It releases next month and I'll be first in line to pick up my copy.
Fanboys can argue until their blue in the face, and they will, about who said what about whom but in the end who cares? The game will speak for itself next month. Some are just a little cranky they won't be able to play it.

They've probably been busy analyzing the Wii remote in an attempt figure out how it works. It's similar to government scientists pouring over a downed alien spacecraft to try and reproduce the technology and make it their own.
In the end M$ will become frustrated trying to figure it all out, call Radio Shack and have them build it. ;)

Thing is, Gamespot probably figured those games were going to disappoint. If the games were half decent they'd be pleasantly suprised.
Now, games like K&L, Lair etc were expected to be good games but flopped. There is the disappointment.
I haven't been to Gamespot since the Uncharted review, did that game or Ratchet make the dissapointed list since GS gave them lower than average scores?

Snake, I'm sure they want our money. The problem is they didn't want to spend the money (making a great port) to make money. Now the game won't sell well 'cause us PS3 owners are rejecting it and Gabe will say "The PS3 port was a waste of our, and EA's time......gimme another Whopper....mmmmmmm"

Just look at Oblivion. That awesome port proves there are a few developers out there who know what their doing.
