and since when did games and movies become one in the same when it comes to consoles.. When everyone was watching DVD's on Xbox and PS2 this stuff didn't matter. I'm not buying any BR movies and I'm not bothering to purchase an HD-DVD add-on. I'm playing games..
Who is really winning the format war??? DVD!! I still don't know one person who has purchased a stand alone HD player or even really plans too. Blu-ray is definately leading, but it's a long long ways from mainstre...

This is a great interview. Not to start any type of flamewar on this topic but I really wish MS dashboard dev team were as forthcoming about their plan for the future of the dash. But unlike the PS3 the Xbox 360 is not married to a particular HD format for movies. MS said they were/are committed to HD-DVD because at the time the 360 launched HD-DVD was the superior format. Now that Blu-ray has it's stuff together with the proper codecs, etc MS has no obligation to HD-DVD. They can make a Blu-ray add-on and it's no big deal. If MS were so committed they would of had an internal HD-DVD drive but they aren't stupid and they didn't want to push the format on its consum...

I never thought this was going to happen because they will be focusing on Unreal Tournament III and hyping it up and showing it off. Epic have already said that UE3 will make Gears look ugly and that it's on a massive scale. Doesn't sound to me like they maxxed out the "180" as you say chump!

This news is beyond old. There are even a couple different fixes out there that you can do yourself that will fix the problem permanently. Just google "xclamp fix" and get yourself $8 and you're good to go.
I've not had a 360 die on me but I've had a couple friends who did and were out of warrenty. Both are working great now.
The fact this person has had 8 bad ones seems suspect.
This has nothing to do with Microsoft.. This is essentially a MOD for your controller. Neither Developers nor MS will be supporting this.
I hate the tilt as it is on the PS3 so no big deal to me.

I think it would be a stupid move on MS's part to delay a game(s) because of Halo 3. I would much rather have UT3 than Halo 3 anyday and I do not plan on purchasing UT3 for PS3. This game is not be developed on the PS3 since so many game assets are already existing from the Gears of War development.
Epic are really good about debunking BS rather quickly so I hope they come out and debunk yet another rumor about their games..

It is wrong. I don't worry about anything when I turn either of my 360's on that I've had since launch. If anything goes wrong that's why I have a warrenty to not have to worry about crap like this.

Motorstorm for me sets the bar both graphically and physics wise for rally games. DiRT looks pretty but not as pretty as Motorstorm.
