For those who are not informed, it's not possible to change your PSN ID without getting a new account. So those kids from the early PSN days who chose names like xXVagViolatorXx, or RapeMe007 are now stuck with that PSN ID unless they decide to create a new account, which means you'll lose all progress of the old PSN ID, lose games you've bought digitally, not to mention having to get PS+ again if you decide to change it nowadays.

Simply put, it ...

@DLConspiracy
What's with pc elitists saying entry level pcs are better than the latest consoles? What is your definition of entry level? Cause every tech website I've seen puts that @ around $300 or less rigs. Are you serious? Or are you so unaware of the world around you that you think the entry level price for everyone is @ $600? Y'all need to keep a level head and not leave reason at the door when arguing.

Depends on your definition of entry level. If you're talking about $300 rigs, then the xbone will have that beat.

@Captain
Your comment is both stupid and naive at the same time. PC gaming is great because of $1000+ rigs that can play games at awesome graphics settings. If you considered buying a $300 pc build before a modern console, then gaming is not your primary concern.

Yeah. Although looking at those screenshots, I kinda wish I'm part of the master race now, but good pcs are to expensive for me.

And btw, I looked up the play time of fallout 3's dlcs, they have an average play time of 3 hours each;

It looks like you still don't understand the point. The article nor do I believe that all games should be as long as The Witcher 3. It's the quality that matters and having a long play time is another excellent factor in considering how much of a great game it is.

And the reason that play time was mentioned was because witcher 3's dlc story is actually longer than the campaign or story of a lot of games. Note that I said story, not including, in...

I think the point of the article is that Witcher 3 not only gives you great price to time value, it is also excellent in story-telling and game design. The fact is, game developers should put in the same time and effort CDPR gives to their games. And this should apply to all game genres that attempt to tell stories, not only RPGs.

It's not clickbait if the headline matches the content. Proper use of "clickbait" is for misleading titles or exaggerated headlines compared to the actual content.

Consoles aren't dragging the industry down. It's the fact that most don't have money for expensive pc rigs. You know what? If the pc mustard race is able to give a thousand bucks to every console gamer in the world, I'm sure everyone will have a pc then. Until then, your comment shows how much you don't know about the world around you and how shallow your thinking is. The fact is, there are actually more PCs in the world than consoles, but only 5% of that could be called a...

Most heart-wrenching scene in all of video game history for me. I remember being so hard and unfeeling before I played this game, It was when I just got over about 2 years of clinical depression. Most games I played then kinda gave me nothing-including most movies as well. But the moment that I first watched that opening scene from a friend's ps3, that was the moment I knew I was really getting better, because this game hooked me from the start, made me care what's next and simply gut...

@dragondark
Huh. First time I've seen a comment that has gotten high double digit likes without a single dislike. We have witnessed a rare phenomenon people here in n4g, where the fanboy wars have ceased for a bit because dragondark has selflessly sacrificed a little of his sanity to give us information that we wanted. He is not the hero we need, but the hero we deserve. He is the dragondark.

Yeah. I'll proudly hang a plaque on my home or workplace that shows how much time I've wasted with video games. /s

This is not even an original idea, didn't xbox do something like this but for birthday celebrators?

If sony really cares about ps plus subscribers, they'd do something to improve the quality and production value of games available, like perhaps only releasing a ps plus game every 2 months, I'd be happier that way if it results...

TL;DR
Holy crap man, you need to write a blog or something. That's a wall of text I'm not even gonna try to read.

Seriously though, this console war thing is just a pantomime now, nobody actually believes there's going to be a change of leader in sales, although Microsoft winning this year would actually benefit everyone especially PS4 owners. We've been getting crap from ps plus for months now, not even during the holidays did we get something good. I...

@DarkOcelot
Exactly! The reason I liked Mafia 2 was the grounded story, how a life in the Mafia would be like. Not exploding cars after getting hit from behind, the batmobile can't even do that! Some say that devs only added that part to show off the tech, I certainly hope so 'cause we already have GTA and Just Cause for over the top action open worlds, we need a grounded open world where cars won't explode after getting hit too many times and car crashes that will kill th...

Definitely amazing. I think the people that don't like TLOU expect it to have twitch shooter kind of gameplay. I understand them if that's what they like cause TLOU does have pretty slow crosshair movement even on maximum speed and that most enemies are bullet sponges (for hard difficulty and up). I think the reason for this is the same reason the original resident evil was so frightening , in RE, you can't aim while moving causing you to basically be trapped while trying to fend ...

Seeing what Konami has been doing last year, I think we will see mission 51, in the form of a brand new sequel to Metal Gear. I wouldn't be surprised if they deliberately cut that mission so that they can elongate the story enough to make a sequel out of it. Honestly though, if you're playing metal gear for the story, you're pretty weird. ;)

@spartanlemur You don't have to say anything, especially on the internet. In this case, it would have been best if he said nothing instead of trying to be provocative while his company is in hot water among consumers.

@DLConspiracy It's not blown out of proportion when the shipping cost from Australia to Australia is as much as having something shipped from the other side of the world. This is either some serious price gouging, or really poor planning on their part. I...
