I thought the 20th anniversary was last year? Or was it 2 years ago? They even had the special PS4 PSOne Grey edition.
I'm not gonna google it (too lazy) so please correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, I can't believe it took them this long to revive Crash Bandicoot. That was one of the few games I still want to play from the PSOne days. I thought for sure they're gonna have atleast one CB game every console gen. And please make it a CB Kart game, ...
I liked TLOU on the PS4 but if other people say they don't like it, then it's fine with me.
But people stating their opinion as facts and dissenters as opinions are just trolling.
Don't forget to use your bubble vote people. Let's clean up n4g. Remember to use your head, not your gaming preference.
And to be clear, TLOU Remastered is not for those who already had it on their PS3, it was for those who haven't played it yet....
@t-hall
That's really all that we should expect from a remaster. Why, you say? Because remasters honestly are not for those who already had it previously, it's for those that weren't able to play it before.
The article is way too blind to not mention this fact. I doubt anyone who played TLOU on their PS3 would buy the PS4 version unless they really want to. It's not a cash grab, it's simply providing what people want.
The only game...
Looks good. It's still a bit rough with regards to animation and transitions but it looks like fun already.
Here's the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/emb...
Depends on what you mean by that. Animation itself is something that never needs bullshotting, it's just movement.
But if you mean scenes "allegedly" from the game that never shows up in the actual game, then yeah, I feel you.
I actually like what the article is about. Games nowadays are beautiful enough that bullshotting is pretty much an unnecessary risk. Gamers have also become quite sensitive to getting duped by underhanded marketing tactics...
Agreed. That DLC even came to the console versions as well. A quick google would have informed the article writer with that information.
PS Vita does not even get its own category anymore; it's now on the "others" category.
I don't understand why Sony is treating the vita like the black sheep of the family, like that jailbird uncle that keeps getting in trouble 'cause of drugs.
@SunnyZ
I don't think practically melting the vinyl will work at all. For one, when you heat something enough for it to deform but not melt, it will most likely end up skewed and uneven, making it useless. If you do melt it though, then what you have after is a disc made of plastic that will make noise when you try to play it. Best solution is to stick with the warranty.
I honestly enjoy Kotaku's style and some of their "human interest" stories. Gaming isn't exactly ripe with awesome news stories everyday, the good kind of news we get about gaming comes about a couple a week. So yeah, slow news day everyday for gaming.
One website I think that still deliver pure gaming news is rockpapershotgun.com, I don't go there anymore though as it's way too indie nowadays, don't know 3/4 of the games they talk about nor do I...
For those like me who've only known about this now, here's a link about what's happened:
http://www.bbc.com/news/tec...
I'm a subscriber to their React channel, I've always liked their videos because they were always good clean fun, unlike most other popular videos where there's always somebody who gets hurt or taken advantage of, or videos that are simply vulgar or...
Nah, I think there was another prototype that had the same plug panel at the bottom like this one had. It also has front and back cams, def not a pspgo prototype then. The ui used is also similar to what we have now on the vita.
It does not look good imho. The current design we have now is better, although I would have like a more cutting edge modern UI instead of bubbles and a more ergonomic design for more comfortable use.
You're right, but imagine Pikachu with Freeman's voice. Lol.
My favorite's Nick Offerman too. So much possibilities...
He'll be great, but there are a lot of other choices though; Ron Perlman known for being Hellboy, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman,and then there's Nick Offerman a.k.a. Ron Swanson from Parks and Rec. Any of these guys and I'll buy this on day one.
Yeah. I just hope CD puts effort in maximizing the PS4's specs and not just try and reach the same spec the game has on xbone.
Yeah. I actually like what ps+ has in store this coming Feb. Watched a gameplay video of Helldivers, looks fun. I just hope this has better online multiplayer performance than rocket league.
@KribWalker
Lol. Nah man. I just remembered that PSN ID from an article I read about changing PSN IDs. My PSN ID is carlo_rydman, which I'm probably gonna change when given the chance.
@abzdiine
Been here only a few months, but from what I've seen happen with my account, newbies start at 3 or 5 bubbles I think, and then becomes 10 bubbles after a couple of months. You get more or less bubbles depending in the up or down bubbles you get.
@abzdiine
Yeah. It's pretty obvious you won't see it. I put it right in your face and you still don't understand.
About the battlefield and CoD is for children comment; you can't just troll so obviously like that man. You gotta put some intelligence or atleast some facts in there, or else your bubbles will diminish even further. You do realize you've lost 4 bubbles already right?
@abzdiine
Really? I thought it's pretty obvious.
Imagine you're 13 yo and you just got a ps3. Now, you chose the username VagViolator because it's funny, I mean it's vagina!
Now, you've grown up, you now have a job as an IT professional, all your workmates are gamers, they have ps4s and so do you. They ask you if you have a ps4 so they can play battlefield or blackops online with you.
What do you do? Do yo...
@EDMIX
The reason everybody is pretty much disagreeing with you is because no actual mobile game can match a genuine last gen console game.
Why, you say? Newer phones do have better specs than last gen consoles or some old PCs. But what's on paper simply does not match actual performance.
Mobiles are limited by 2 important factors, heat dissipation and limited power. Software simply cannot use mobile hardware the same way consoles are used because...
