I'm not sure why would anyone bother to argue this. The best game of all time is as subjective a topic can get.

The early pc gamers would argue that the best of all time is Doom, perhaps Baldur's Gate.

As a ps4 gamer I already hold Last of Us as one of the greatest of all time.

As a person born in the 90's, I would say Civ 5, Fallout 2 (not 3), and Skyrim topping my best of all time.

And I'm pretty sure every...

I think they went a little too far with trying to make the game cinematic. Last of us was cinematic and almost everyone loved it. Atleast now we know the line between what's enjoyable and what's not when it comes to cinematic games.

Foxtrot's right, they put too much work on the live action stuff, not enough on the story, coherence, and fun.

It's not free. It's called "instant game collection" for a reason. These games are more like long-term rented games.

Again, you just proved my point. And I'm not sure you understand that an analogy is merely a representation of something to communicate an idea in a simpler way. Like saying that 3/4 of something is like 3 slices from a 4-slice pizza.

So what I said about Trump and politics is a mere "analogy" about you not giving a sh*t about something bad even though it affects everyone including yourself.

And you do pay when you vot...

I'm fine with this actually, except for Knack. If they're giving us 1 AAA game per year, it should atleast be of decent quality. I already have DriveClub but that's a good option. Maybe The Order 1886, or some of the older multiplat titles like Ass Creed Black Flag and Rogue, or maybe Tomb Raider.

Still, I think if Sony wants to, giving out 2 AAAs per year would be preferable, and I'm sure it'll be worth it if they manage to make their consumers happy enou...

Your reply pretty much proved my analogy was perfect. You don't give a sh*t about sonething, so you won't do anything to stop it, even if it's bad.

Admit it, and be proud of your beautiful personality.

You being okay with PS+ because you don't play the instant games collection shows the sad state of our world today.

It's like saying that you're okay with Trump being the next president because you don't care about politics. Or like giving a gun to a child. You don't give a f*ck, so screw everyone else.

3604d ago 13 agree24 disagreeView comment

Discounts were not the reason most people got a PS+. It was always the instant game collection, and then multiplayer.

We really need to start demanding better from Sony. They've gotten way too lax with PS+. We didn't even get a AAA game for the ps4 last holiday.

I said this before and I'll say it again, if you want a better PS+, vote with your wallet, wait a month or two before subscribing, or better yet, don't suobscribe at all. I'm sure ...

It's not about having no faith, it's about the fact that Nintendo had that design patented. It's easy for people to believe those fakes because of that.

I doubted the authenticity of those leaks though since the failure of the WiiU would atleast prove that touch screens are not the new secret sauce to a great console.

And also because there were rumours they were going to be more supportive of 3rd party titles, which would be impossible if they di...

It's a season pass, meaning there are other DLCs coming. Having a free one now doesn't mean they all have to be free.

Although as masterofwiiu3ds argues, there's too much focus on dlcs nowadays that I believe some games suffer so that there will be room for dlcs. Like Battlefield, or Call of Duty, or others like Evolve. These games were designed with dlcs in mind, and they suffer for it.

DLCs are okay, if implemented correctly like expansions or e...

Yep. They should just have given this new DLC for free. This would have been great PR for them and current owners would have good reason to come back and play.

Honestly though, EA doesn't exactly have a great track record when it comes to winning back customer's trust. Atleast now they're not voted the worst company in America anymore.

Looks like everybody's relieved. Although there's still the fact that Nintendo patented this exact game pad design. Hopefully Nintendo realized that new fangled gimmicks ain't worth sh*t when you're not going to get proper 3rd party support, which that game pad definitely guarantees.

Yeah. Even though most gamers seem to be quite immature based on most comments I see here in n4g, gamers are smart enough to know when they are getting screwed, like what happened with Sim City or with Watch Dogs.

Bethesda definitely need to step up their game. If people continue to fawn over them like they did with Fallout 4, they might end up becoming like Ubisoft, or worse, like the Call of Duty franchise.

There was a rumor recently about them going straight to Fallout 5 I think. If this is true, they might be doing what Far Cry 4 did for Far Cry 3, a new game built on practically the same body, since people will buy this anyway.

What Bethesda need to do is stop, br...

For those that say people will just complain after getting poor quality AAA games like Knack, that game is a lot better than some of the mediocre indies we've been getting like Nomnom Galaxy or Hardware Rivals. These are not terrible games per se, it's just that most people won't play these games more than a few hours before quitting.

It's true that some of the indies and AA games we got were excellent, like Rocket League or The Walking Dead, but the good game...

I see you trying to argue your point in such long diatribes all the time. But I never agree to any of it.

Player count matters because aside from reading reviews, which also matters a lot by the way, the enthusiasm of many for something is a direct correlation to quality.

An example, you see a lot of people always eating in a single restaurant while the other restaurants in the same lane don't get as many. You have enough money and...

*Running after a "not her player."

So you were running after a "him" then? Sorry for the terrible joke.

Never played it, and I still wouldn't after they make it free 2 play. If they have any hope of reviving enough enthusiasm for the game to have a successor though, free 2 play is the only way they can do that.

Yeah. I thought the NX will have great 3rd party support based on another rumor in the past. But if this is its controller, I don't see how games like Fallout 4 or even Call of Duty could be played.

Come on Nintendo, stop trying to force trends and start thinking more about functionality.

Although I do doubt that this is really the NX's controller, I'm no expert but I don't think an almost pure touch screen controller could survive through ini...

@arkard

Actually, the PSVR does not come with extra processing or graphical power, the processing box that comes with the PSVR runs the reprojection feature which adds extra frames to the output of the PS4 to reach 120fps.

It's like one of those NTSC to PAL and vice versa converters used in the CRT TV era. If you bought a NES from Japan and want to run it on a TV from the US, you'll have to convert the frame rate and signal. On the PSVR's case, t...

I don't know about devs being lazy but PS4 should be powerful enough like everyone else said, the only thing devs have to do is to choose what other part of their game have to be compromised in favor of higher fps.

PSVR runs 2 screens, with a resolution of 960x1080 each, which equals to 1920x1080. So PSVR has the same resolution as standard HDTVs.
