I only have 378 of the over 500 'free' games that were offered. I started my PS+ subscription in 2013 when it became mandatory for multiplayer access. I also claimed every 'free' game even if I didn't have an interest in it at that time. I figured I might as well since Sony was paywalling me now LOL.
A solid roster of games this month. I'll be claiming these as well and adding them to my monster backlog.
"there are things that really makes it annoying especially dealing with the BTs"
Once you get the hang of it, you'll be hunting BTs like how I was 😊
I'm loving that people are saying this game has Metal Gear vibes to it.
I'm glad that the general consensus points to this being another great game from Kojima. My dilemma now is determining how long to hold off before buying this game. I'm likely not going to be picking this game up at least until sometime next year anyway since I normally wait a long while before picking up single-player games (so that they can be patched up to near perfection, and sold for a sale price).
But even then, should I hold out even longer for a 'possib...
It clicked for me the very first time I played it (Director’s cut version). I thoroughly research the games that I want to play, simply because I don’t have time to waste with games that don’t interest me or look fun to me.
I guess all the cool colors were already taken
Eastern devs are putting in that work this gen. The quality of their games have been top-notch across the board. Looking forward to seeing more of this game in action.
Other devs need to take notes and step their game up, figuratively and literally.
“So while we are at it, lets just go ahead and pretend that Marvel Tokon won´t be available on Xbox day and date as well via Steam with all the mods and stuff right?”
Ehh, I think that’s wishful thinking about Marvel Tokon releasing on Xbox. It’ll definitely be on PC though so get those Steam accounts ready.

Congrats Son...
People are generally paid for the work they are doing. Layoffs generally occur when there is no work for them to do (project cancelled, business slowing down, etc). I’ve been laid off from two jobs during my 40+ years of working so I know about these things. A company is not going to just keep paying people if there is no work for them to do, no matter how much profits they made.
Personally, I don't think Sony's focus should be on more acquisitions at this time. Their focus should be on getting their current studios back on track. Now, if they can do that AND acquire more studios (effectively walk and chew gum at the same time lol), then maaaaybe that could be good for them. But only if they get off the GaaS game road they were on this gen.
Somehow I don’t think the majority of players were buying the game for the story.
I'm glad that Xbox is still moving forward with their next-gen console plans. As a primarily PS gamer, I'm looking forward to seeing what they come out with to compete with PlayStation. Competition is still good, people 🙂 But Xbox needs to convince me why I should look forward to the next Xbox, especially if their games will likely come to PS anyway.
$60 base price for a game with poor performance and glitches.
Wait a while, and it'll go on sale for 30% off (or higher), and it'll likely be patched up and running a lot better.
@snookies
I'm not talking about owning multiple or all systems. I'm referring to games available on your preferred system(s). If a particular game is available on your favorite system, do you not play it because it was developed by a third-party studio? If so, that's really sad IMO.
Most gamers just play good games regardless of which studio created them.
@Foxtrot
No, they definitely had a choice but many chose the path of least resistance.
We have plenty of single-player, non-LS games that began development during the LS initiative. Those projects obviously got greenlit for production. These studios just needed to have good ideas for single player games, but most just chose to come up with half-assed LS pitches.
Your dollars and your data 🙂
That's always my preference as well. More importantly, I prefer a smoother, stable framerate more than simply hitting higher framerates. But I do like it to look pretty as well lol.
"While the PS5 version maintains superior resolution and visual fidelity, it cannot consistently deliver the same frame rate stability, especially in its Performance mode. Even the more powerful PS5 Pro struggles to keep frame rates within its VRR window when the action intensifies.
For players who prioritize performance above visual quality, the Xbox Series X version may offer appeal due to its stable frame rate. However, those seeking the best graphical presentation ...

I'm perfectly fine with Essentials, thank you.
I wonder by how much they'll increase the tiers when the next round of increases come.
