The only thing that Loeb is interested in is the bottom line....and we can see where this leads companies like EA when they use profit as the main force for their decision making.
Loed is only interested in the money and nothing to do with the culture of the company.
The article makes a good point about how Loed wants to take the company in the opposite direction that most companies want to go in. He wants to split the entertainment part of the business from the hardw...
Sony has had to make a lot of cut backs and a lot of people have lost their jobs because of that.
the execs are doing the right thing by not accepting the bonus as it wouldn't really be fair if they did after making so many others are out of work.
Also it shows that they care about the company and sends a good image out to all those working under them.
Mind you, you do have to remember that these guys do get paid well even without the bonus, so I ...
You do know that @Mr Mancs was just trying to show appreciation for the guy. The gay bit was just a joke.
What are you on?
Well if the PS4 is as near to a PC as you can get without becoming a PC, I can't see what else you could do to try and make things easier for Bethesda.
Would the numbers help clarify the situation?
With the architecture so different to a standard PC, how would you compare them.
you would look at the basic numbers and think "Oh look, their lower than my PC so there for it can't be as good".
With all the changes, how you you judge that?
I think he means PS4 will be cheaper at launch than the PS3 was at launch.
Don't see whats dreaming about that...it's just sony learning from their mistakes on the last gen.
two words... Sour grapes!
I always wondered why Mickey talked in that squeaky voice.
But when you put all that together, it's a shame to let it all down with the box art.
Amazon are giving refunds, not EA.
To right people should give it one star.
If your sell a product and it's broken, that's that happens.
Don't you just hate it when you want to express that you enjoyed a game and then everyone just rains on your parade.
Lets end it before it begins!
With EA's server issues, even a casual gamer who does not understand DRM is going to get pissed off with this and complain.
So if everyone complains, that will be enough for all the devs and publishers to take notice.
If EA keep going with this DRM policy, Amazon will probably stop stocking their products.
Hopefully that will make EA wake up and take notice.
Hang on, with the more PC like programming for the PS4, won't the dev cost go down from the PS3???
Usually how it works is someone who is really into gaming and a tech wiz creates a product that really takes off.
Over time that person develop the game or product but then has to expand.
To make running the company and projects more manageable they have to bring in more management or start working under a publishing company.
That's when the money people get involved and see the success of the original product and then either tries to repeat the exact same thing li...
Thats the benefit of having a living language. constantly changing, borrowing form other languages, changing words and adapting.
Beside, it does not matter which country you come from. There is no terms of use in that site dictating which version of English you have to use.
Hell, I'm from New Zealand so we end up borrowing from both, mainly because we get a mix of American and British media.
A little to close to his face for my liking.
I really hope he has learnt from this... don't treat your customers as just a source of money to squeeze as hard as you can.
Try good service and products instead, it will get you a lot further.
I think it will be more like they showing people what they are missing so that once it's gone, more people will sign up.
I think PSN did a similar thing with plus late last year.
They might want to start with some original ideas.
..and some testing.
