Basically, it has nothing to do with gaming and everything to do with how kids interact.
It's easier to join the crowd, so the best way of doing that is to create an us and them mentality...and the easiest people to pick on are the loners or the people in the smallest groups.
I wasn't popular, but lucky enough to have enough friends that I wasn’t picked on either...although there was one or two through out the years who tried.
It looks like their really trying to take on board everything that has happened in the last couple of years with these Mass on line launches.
With so much riding on it, you want to avoid the problems that happened to Diablo, GTA5 and Simcity.
Hope they are successful, because if they are, it will be a lesson for the industry on how to roll this thing out.
Firstly - All the radio stations are competing for the same pool of audience.
Secondly - These numbers are people tuning in to the radio each day.
Thirdly - Youtube is world wide.
Not saying he's done well for him self, but I wish people wouldn't make comparisons with things out of their arse.
At least it comes to the conclusion, don't panic, the kids will be handling the tech better than you are.
There were rumours going round about a sci-fi game. Haven't heard much on that front for a little while.
My shopping list is officially updated!
Have facebook even announced what their going to do with it?
I'm concerned as much as the next person on what they might do, but at this stage the tech is still being developed and the more money getting poured into it, the better chance of better tech, hopefully at a better price.
As long as the tech is there, there will be people wanting to make the software, and that doesn't have to be Facebook alone making that.
Isn't this what all the companies are trying to do?
The only difference with sony is that a lot eariler they said, we took a hit with our sales with the PS3, what can we do to make sure we sell more next time....I know...we'll push the games because thats what the people who buy the product want!
If you target what the customer wants, you will sell more consoles...simple.... and it's good that MS are finally coming round to that way of thinkin...
I agree with this 100%.
Good reasoning why a story needs to end, because it's a story.
If you look at other games like assassins creed, it started out a good idea and had a good way of jumping from time line to time line and keeping the story together. But the problem is now they are making to much money out of it to know when to reach the conclusion.
In stead of reaching the big end, it will likely fizzle out to nothing.
No one dies...they all live happily ever after.
A lot of people out there get lucky by doing the right thing at the right time.
You may not like his stuff, personally I never heard of him till now. But fact of the matter is he was doing something he enjoyed and he managed to make money out of it.
If any of us were in him shoes, we would have done the exact same thing.
You don't want to show off to many of the WOW moments, otherwise there will be nothing left when people come to buy it.
I think it's best to hold back, and let the really good stuff come out when the game is released. That ay people wil be going from no expectation to major hit. Rather that major hype to let down.
"ND is showing us that they haven't mastered the PS4's power yet".
You do know that TLOU is just a remasters game where Uncharted 4 is their showcase for their work with PS4 don't you?
That sucks man.
I've been playing Skyrim since September last year when I have time. Only up to level 58 at the moment.
Hopefully I can get to the end before I gt to far behind on my backlog.
Just make sure that is the case, as Miraak obsorbs the life force out of each of his two dragons during the fight.
It might make it look like his energy was not going down.
I'm sure your right if you've read up on the glitch, but I'd hate for you to miss out.
Yeah, Origins was good, I played all the starts and completed all the ending to platinum it.
Never bothered with the 2nd one.
It probably means very similar endings to the game, but 40 different text bits wrapping up the story depending on what you did during the games like how Dragon Age Origans finished.
I was going to say the exact same thing.
This is nothing new. They (both MS and Sony) will always be adjusting the code, making it more efficient.
MS installs DX12, and releases resources used from Kinect.
Sony adjusts it's code and releases resources from the OS.
That’s part of the reason why games at the end of the gen look better than the ones at the start.
I think TLOU target is just to get to a new audeance of new PS fans who have just come over on the PS4.
I never expected this to be a major improvement seeing as it's still pretty new on PS3 and the games towards the end of PS3 generation are not far off from the start of next gen.
GTA was always planned to have a larger jump in graphics, thats why they held back with the PC version to come out with PS4 and Xbox One when they released.
You just have to start right at the start and make sure beyond shelter, love, education and food, nothing else is a god given right.
