I was playing COD4 and completed the single player and then started playing the multiplayer.
Then Uncharted came out and I completely forgot about COD4 which I played this. I've only just started playing COD4 again today, and boy I suck now after a few weeks away. So COD4 is good, but uncharted is that little bit better....for me.
Before the games came out, we heard very little about the game.
Its purely the fact that people have been playing this and finding that this is in fact a great game.
You can tell this by the way when the game first came out it was selling slowly but as word got out and sales have gotten bigger.
The exclusives for the PS3 are true exclusives (ie. not coming out on PC) like a lot of 360 exclusives.
I've got both PS3 and 360. Got a laptop too but its a bit old these days for playing games which is why I got the 360.
As for the Wii...ummmm...can't be bothered.
But when you mix it with what else is out there for the PS3, it is getting people thinking.
Considering that the really big exclusives have not come out yet, the system is selling damn well. And now that they know how to develop for it, things are going to get even better.
I just completed it on normal and will now work my way through hard. Not many game have been good enough that I'd want to play it twice.
Also playing COD4 on line, great game....just waiting for UT3 to come out in UK.
Now what is Lawmans problem....Everyone here is enjoying their systems and agreeing with the choice of this article and all he can do is go "look at me...look at me"! Very sad.
Sounds a bit fishy to me.
No worries about space, as many languages you want, all the textures you can thing off, all uncompressed, big maps.

The Sony VCR I got many years ago lasted like 7 years and survived my old flatmates.
With all the bad news that MS and Xbox companies and mags have been producing into the media, I can understand why they would give a TV to a mag with Xbox in the title.

They copied windows from Mac O/S.
They copied Java from Sun.
They copied Internet Explorer from Netscape.
They copied Office from every other word processing application.
They copied your precious Xbox from PS2.
Name me just one application that was originally created by MS or wasn't brought from another company.

I work in IT, and the company I work for all have their software running from IE6 and tell people not to upgrade as we won't support it.
Now they want to push out IE8.....No thanks.
At home I use Firefox.
So much so that that they didn't finish the mods part of the game.
So I think it unlikely they had time to put together an ad.
They used to have arguments about cost and no games.
Now the games are out, they keep saying they aren't AAA titles....which is all a matter of opinion.
Now that the cost has gone down...well, they don't even talk about that.
So all they have left is to bring up articles about how bad they were.
So they still have a few months to reach it.
But still, they are doing a lot better now than they had been...so it should be too much of a problem.
Reviews mean nothing now!
