Now there might be a cultural thing against Japan in China, but for the average kid on the street, they will buy what they think they'll enjoy most.
Japanese culture although very different from Chinese still has more in common than American culture to Chinese.
besides, the Chinese like PCs better anyway.
they'll probably even make their own console for the next generation, if theres anyone who can do that, its them.

To be honest, quite a few...but the fact remains that if this game sells this well just for the demo, then its a sure sign that the ful game will do so much better.
A lot of people are waiting for Final Fantasy to come out before getting a PS3.
A lot of people are waiting for MGS4 to come out before getting a PS3.
A lot of people are waiting for GT5 to come out before getting a PS3.
Seems like there are a lot of people planning on getting a PS3 next year.
They work for a company, the company needs to make money, the money comes from the ads, the ads come from the developers, the developers are the ones making the games that the reviews have to review.
So of course if someone gives a bad review for your game, then you won't want to give them money.
there is a logic to that, but we know it isn't always the case...you only need to look at lair to know that reviews don't always give the reviews the devs were hoping for.
But then again, if all you can do is hate on PS3 then you wouln't see that. which kind of implies that I'm wasting my time even talking to you.
besides, this game is an example of the Ace up the sleeve for PSN over Xbox Live.
Making content and sharing it in games like this and UT3 is what make PSN stand out from the competition...that and being free.
Epic want to get the whole game to everyone, and that includes mods because thats a large part of what the game is.
So if you want to blame anyone for this game not selling, blame MS.
But remember, this is metal gear...that along with GT will do amazing things for the PS3 sales.
These are the game that people are waiting for and one of the many reasons I got my PS3.
If you want to sit around waiting for Metal gear to come out on 360, then thats your loss.
Firstly, the cost difference between a Wii and a PS3 is a lot.
I've never heard of anyone going to the shop, seeing what they want out of stock so they turn round and spend x3 - x4 as much money for something else.

The idea about the power behind the cell is all about running simulations.
If you look at PS3 exclusive games like heavenly sword, you will see things like 100s of solders running through the field. its all about movement and environment to give the games more depth.
Of course if the developer is making a game for both 360 and PS3, then they can't use the full power of the cell because then it won't run on the 360. There will always be a case of dumbing down the game to get it ...
You only need to read the comments on this site to see that.
Mind you, I'll still need someone to go out and top up the power meter.
If you buy a game and play it all month and not look at other games during that period, the games that came out during that month are still on the shelves when you come in the next month.
Its not like a movie where its there one month and gone the next.
I'm sure that Stranglehold did lose sales for that month, but if its a good game and people want it, then they will be back.
MS has to go through this too.
But if the Dev have more space, then they don't have to waste time figuring out how to compress or cut out data to fit on the disk.
With in 3 month I had upgraded my TV because I would see the difference in the shops and go "hmmmmmm....I want that"!
