I played Bioshock on 360 when it first came out, it was the reason I got the 360.
I had since sold the 360 as i only ever play Mass effect and bioshock on it. Just recently I got bioshock again on PS3 (Only £10) and am enjoying it all over again. textures look fine by the way.

I think is to do with how the content is presented as strippers, drugs and death as not nice things.
Its not like how its presented in GTA where is suppost to be funny.
Here the content is presented with emotion experiencing (as much as possible in a game) what people in these conditions really experience. like the reasons why someone would end up in prostitution.
Once you strip all the fun and games away from drug and death, then how people will respond will be different...
The labels are there for parents who do care about their kids mental health.
There is only so much the community can do to limit what kids play and watch. Its the parents responsibility to monitor this.
otherwise the only other thing we can do is ban these games and films which isn't fair on those responsible enough to deal with this sort of thing.
I think the big jumps will be in story development and making more adult story based games.
More things like heavy rain for example.
After all, the average gamer these days is around 30 so it would be good to have story lines more for that age group.
3D screens and monitors is the thing i'm waiting for.
I think the big thing the actors have to deal with is that their dialog is broken up into little bits so that each of the records can be applied to all the choices you can make in the game.
its probably quite hard to do that and still make it feel natural with every line of dialog.
