RTCW: Enemy Territory will always be fun.
I need an Engineer!
Not entirely sure how a wrestling game compares to a first person shooter...but yeah Splash Damage are totally lazy. /s
@Emekcrash
"Day 1 patch to fix the bad graphics and texture pop-ups."
Texture pop in? Sure they may fix that. I don't really see how they are going to fix the visuals with a patch.
@Enkei
PC>PS3/360
When it comes to ports unless one has hideous framerate problems or frame tearing I don't really see the point in complaining between the two. They are more or less always the same with very minor differences.
If you're really that much of a stickler for either lost frames, or having a lower number of pixes being rendered on the screen...just buy a PC.
Okami makes sense, Bushido Blade does not...at all.
@Bushlitter
If I'm feeling nice I'll go ahead and say WaW is a perfectly passable CoD game.
3, Modern Warfare 2 and BLOPS though? Jokes, jokes jokes.
Lol, you call Heavy Rain an adventure game without the point and click.
Because a Metacritic score is something you should go by. I'm also glad you think so highly of your "Metacritic Opinion" and value it higher then any of ours, I don't even own SOCOM 4 and your comment bothers me.
You are the worst kind of sheep in gaming.
@Oschino1907
What does Battlefront and ToR have to do with one another you ask? Not a whole hell of a lot! One's a Third person shooter with vehicles...the other a MMO with quests, I can totally see how one would effect the other. It is ToR's fault that Battlefront 3 got the can right? Nothing to do with the team working on it moving on.
You also have to take into account that an MMO doesn't need to have more subscribers then WoW to survive or be ...
I don't understand what about it is looking like a flop? Do tell, you seem to have more insight then I.
This isn't about personal details, it's about how it's been what 2 weeks and it's still down. A lot of people really have a right to be upset about that, some people don't enjoy SP or simply only use the thing to play with friends online.
Your words: "Wow people in this world need killing for the lack of respect." are a little worrisome. I don't think anyone deserves death for showing disrespect to a company that can't seem to get one of...
With a newer CPU, GPU and undoubtedly more memory I can't see how it possibly couldn't produce something that surpasses what we've seen on the 360 or PS3. I wouldn't take the rumor to heart though, it was based entirely on GPU clockspeeds which isn't the whole story when talking about whats faster then the other.
Thats not to say that I don't think it wont be more powerful then the 360 or PS3, I just don't think that graph was anything credible to ...
This is pretty well how I felt, initially a little upset that it was down over Easter weekend and my info was out there in whatever capacity. That then subsided when I realized it doesn't really matter. Which has now just blossomed again into a deep feeling of "Meh" it'll return when it wants to return.
I still have to force myself through Brotherhood and Dead Space 2 anyhow.
The console versions are hardly competitive, the sticky aim makes sure of that. I also have to wonder when on earth you should be proud of playing something that allows you to get kills "no matter your skill level".
What vehicles in CoD? I don't remember hopping in tanks, Helo's, Jeeps and APC in CoD. Sure the odd scripted rail sequence (The Helo sequence was boredom made into video game form in BLOPS.) but overall nothing to touch Battlefield. Big lols on t...
Increases in damage doesn't make for challenging AI, I like the part where they run around like they're confused.
"Run away!! Run Back! Run Away!! Run Back...stand and shoot." Tough shit.
Whats fun about it? The Combat is kinda slow, the missions are dull, the city is dull and the enemies are nothing special to look at beyond the trash can mechs.
Infamous isn't a bad open world exclusive, but it's nothing special. It runs into the same problem Crackdown did, same shit repeatedly and unfortunately that same shit isn't all that interesting.
Like today?
Then why even drag the Operation Flashpoint name through the mud? The friendly AI seems even worse then Dragon rising and it loses all of the open ended mission structure.
I'm not disagreeing that Codemasters was seeking some kind middle ground between the two. I just feel the game leaned far to heavily on the CoD part of the balance.
Ghost Recon 1 and Rainbow Six. No voice commands, but most of what you have cited was there in the original Red Storm titles. SOCOM was special because of the MP, the SP was there for people with no network adapters.
@Fox
Had a manager who believed the same kind of crap, he eventually snapped...I wish I was kidding.
